On the way back to Whale Island.
A Luo asked Gon how his match against Hisoka had gone. Had he won?
Gon looked a little dejected.
"Unfortunately, I still couldn't beat Hisoka."
But then, as if something had occurred to him, his golden-brown eyes lit up again, sparkling like jewels.
"But, A Luo, you know what? I managed to give Hisoka back his Number Plate and that punch."
"The only disappointing part was that Hisoka said he wouldn't fight me at Heavens Arena anymore."
Killua excitedly chimed in beside him.
"A Luo, it's such a shame you weren't there to watch. That punch Gon landed was so satisfying!"
Remembering that Killua's eldest brother had made her miss that classic match, A Luo couldn't help grumbling.
"It was all Illumi's fault. He suddenly dragged me off to help him with some assassination job, and I ended up missing Gon's iconic fight with Hisoka."
Killua's eyes widened.
"My eldest brother?"
A Luo nodded.
"Yep, that's right. Your eldest brother. Apparently, he'd taken a job near Heavens Arena, but something went slightly wrong, and he needed someone to pretend to be his date. So that cheapskate brother of yours thought of me."
Killua couldn't help asking curiously:
"Then what happened? Didn't Illumi do anything else?"
Grinning, A Luo winked at the two boys and dropped one last bombshell.
"You guys have no idea. Three Spiders happened to come looking for revenge on me, so I left Illumi behind to play with them and slipped away to find you!"
Killua: "..."
Gon: "..."
So A Luo had escaped from being surrounded by the equivalent of almost four Hisokas?
Both boys instantly looked at A Luo with admiration, thoroughly satisfying her vanity.
After that easygoing journey, they made it back to Whale Island.
