Anyone visiting Bulma's home for the first time would generally find it hard to imagine that the place before them, which resembled a vast wildlife park, was merely a private indoor courtyard.
The daily electricity bill for facilities such as the lighting display on the first-floor ceiling, which simulated the natural rising and setting of the sun and moon, was alone an astronomical sum that ordinary people could hardly bear to look at.
And in Bulma's mansion, there were at least two more floors upstairs with similarly sized spaces.
Josen was fine. He had already been stunned once before.
After crossing the absurdly large first floor, Josen followed the robot down a corridor and into the courtyard of Bulma's home, which was the size of several soccer fields. A separate spherical building stood there, where Dr. Brief worked at home.
"Oh, Josen, what brings you here?"
The laboratory doors opened, and Bulma, who had received a notification from the security system, jogged out. She wore a cropped camisole that exposed her navel and fair belly, paired with denim short shorts, her two long, pale legs carrying her along in the skimpy outfit.
Josen critically examined Bulma's outfit for the day and ultimately had to admit-
Whatever else could be said, the prince certainly had a discerning eye!
"Well, everyone's started training, haven't they?"
His critical inspection complete, Josen stated his purpose directly. "I'm planning to leave Earth for a while and travel around the universe."
"Ah!"
Hearing Josen's words, Bulma was immediately startled. She blinked blankly and said, "You're leaving already? It feels so sudden!"
"Don't worry. Even if I'm leaving, I still have to wait for you to finish modifying the spaceship!"
Josen spread his hands. Bulma caught on and led him into the laboratory, explaining as they walked.
