The darkness ahead suddenly opened up, and Josen and Gwen Stacy emerged into a vast underground cavern.

"Infiltration successful! Nobody spotted us!"

True enough. Anyone who had spotted them had been smashed to death.

"Uh..."

Witnessing such a refreshingly unconventional infiltration method for the first time, Gwen was left dazed as her entire worldview crumbled.

The space before them opened wide, revealing an enormous particle collider.

Still, from another perspective, they had indeed made it inside.

"Forget it." Gwen pushed Josen, but he didn't budge. "Put me down. The enemy's already attacking!"

"Roger."

Josen readily obliged, letting Gwen go into free fall. He darted sideways, easily dodging an enormous fireball hurtling toward him. Then his Force Field Armor accelerated, and he charged forward with a mighty slap, swatting the Green Goblin-who was flying at him on beating demonic wings-back down to the ground.

Still transformed into the gigantic Green Goblin, Norman Osborn had never dreamed that one day someone would slap him dozens of meters away like a fly.

"Raargh... huh?"

After roaring in pain twice on the ground, the Green Goblin shook his head and regained his senses. The mutant serum had made his body extraordinarily tough. Even a direct slap from Josen had only stunned him for two seconds!

"ROAR!"

Back at full strength, the Green Goblin had barely let out a roar when Gwen zipped past and plastered his face with webbing, sealing his mouth and nose.

By the time he reacted and angrily tore the webs off his face, Gwen had already swung away on a web line.

Furious, the Green Goblin flapped his wings and took off in pursuit!

"I'll handle the big guy! You stop the others!"

"Huh?"

Only then did Josen notice Scorpion, Tombstone, and Doctor Octopus-who was wiping blood from his mouth-following Gwen like a train.

Seriously? You just have to attack Gwen because she's got a taunt, huh?

Josen nodded, complimented her opening move, and blocked the henchmen's path as requested.

Surrounded by their murderous glares, he calmly asked, "How much does Kingpin pay you a month?"

"This isn't about money..."

Scorpion and Tombstone both froze. Doctor Octopus, Liv, had just begun to speak when the man in Spider Armor shook his head.

"A few million a month, and you're risking your lives for it?"

Doctor Octopus, Scorpion, and Tombstone: ???

What kind of question was that?

But still... he had a damn good point!

Crackle-

The Lightning Chakra Cloak enveloped the Spider Armor, and Josen shot straight into Scorpion's face as if he'd teleported!

Why him? Because he'd replaced his lower body with mechanical crab legs, making him look the biggest.

Faced with a flying Spider-Man suddenly appearing right in front of him, Scorpion's tattoo-covered face went blank. Even his vicious expression stalled for half a beat.

Tombstone and Doctor Octopus instinctively closed in from either side, only for lightning to erupt in an instant!

Secret Art-Ten-Thousand Thunder Prison!

Within the ultimate attack's range, all three were engulfed in dense lightning!

The Stormfront Mark detonated instantly. Scorpion and Tombstone had only taken one step before they were stunned in place.

At the heart of the lightning storm, Josen took a deep breath and drew back his force-field-wrapped fist, his body like a bow pulled taut.

The blinding lightning began to compress and gather. Time stopped at that moment.

Then-

ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!

(งᵒ̌皿ᵒ̌)=3⁼³₌₃⁼³₌₃⁼³₌₃

ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!!

Time resumed its flow.

The lightning gradually subsided, and Doctor Octopus and Tombstone recovered from their stun.

The numbness from their full-body electrotherapy had yet to fade when a green blur whooshed past the corners of their eyes.

Behind them, a familiar figure with mechanical legs sailed through the air and landed deep inside Brooklyn Station below, his fate unknown.

Tombstone laboriously raised both hands to protect his head and face, assuming a boxer's guard as he involuntarily swallowed.

Doctor Octopus, also enhanced, had suffered quite a shock himself. The mechanical tentacles behind him twitched as though electricity were still running through them.

The two exchanged a look. What just happened?

"One down." Josen rolled his neck. "Two to go."

"Darling, you really have exceeded my expectations..." Doctor Octopus flexed his hands, and the jointed tentacles behind him suddenly stabbed forward.

Bang, bang, bang-

Coordinating with his surprise attack, Tombstone professionally drew a pistol and fired shot after shot at Josen.

"Oh, that's not very friendly."

Hovering in the air, Josen leisurely extended a hand and spread his fingers, deploying his Absolute Domain.

The bullets rapidly slowed as they approached him. Their kinetic energy was absorbed by the force field, leaving them suspended in midair.

Doctor Octopus's tentacles packed more power, but they only managed to make slight dents in the force field. Beyond that, they accomplished nothing.

Both men froze, then looked at each other.

They couldn't break through his defenses?

How were they supposed to fight him?!

Seeing things take a turn for the worse, Doctor Octopus kept his cool and immediately raised an arm, shouting, "What are you standing around for? Start the collider! Then... kill that Spider-Man!"

Inside the control room, the researchers who had been happily enjoying the show snapped to attention. They operated the fully warmed-up collider, unleashing two dazzling streams of high-energy particles, then grabbed the high-energy weapons beside them and fired wildly at Josen.

For a moment, beams of every color flew everywhere.

After being used as a target for a barrage, Josen realized the attacks on his AT Force Field were approaching its limit. He immediately stopped taking chances and began weaving through the air.

The AT Force Field was strong, but it wasn't limitless.

The advanced weapons Kingpin's researchers wielded packed a serious punch. Just looking at them made Josen want to take a couple home.

But not now.

At the moment, wherever he flew, a long stream of energy attacks followed him.

Meanwhile, Gwen was taking the oversized Green Goblin for a ride. His practically cooldown-free fireballs left her helpless and in constant peril. If not for her reliable Spider-Sense, the white Ghost-Spider would probably have become a blackened, charcoal-grilled spider on the spot.

"Hey! Guys, are we late?"

Miles Morales's voice came from the ceiling, and everyone present looked up, regardless of which side they were on.

Figures in spider suits hung upside down or moved across the smooth ceiling, all itching to get into the fight.

Crack.

Inside the control room, Kingpin crushed the Atomic Pen in his hand.

Hiss-

Down on the ground, Tombstone sucked in a breath, his scalp prickling!

"One, two, three, four, five, six... Including the two from before, that makes eight Spider-Men?" Doctor Octopus counted them with a finger, a feverish obsession rising in his eyes. "This is just... marvelous!"

Josen flashed the newcomers a universally recognized gesture of goodwill, shouting irritably as he dodged attacks, "You lot! Get down here and help!"

"Roger!"

"Spider-Men, attack!"

Swift figures joined the battlefield, and the tide of battle abruptly turned!

Each enhanced villain now had two or more Spider-Men keeping him occupied, prompting the Parkers from different dimensions to marvel.

Ever since their debuts, they'd always been the ones getting ganged up on. This was their first time fighting with so much manpower to spare!
