Faced with Josen's sudden flattery, Wong could not help looking alarmed.
"Wait, the current Sorcerer Supreme is..."
"Doctor Strange, I know him." Josen released Wong's hand and said sorrowfully, "Unfortunately, though, he's very likely no longer with us."
Wong: "..."
We haven't even confirmed that yet! How do you know?!
"It's true that we haven't been able to contact Strange for now."
Wong fell silent for a moment at the information Josen provided, then said calmly, "But even if the previous Sorcerer Supreme dies unexpectedly, their successor still has to undergo a full assessment process before inheriting the title, so..."
"Where I come from, librarians are synonymous with hidden masters, just like monks who sweep scripture libraries," Josen smoothly interrupted his casting, his gaze sincere. "So with your experience and reputation, who else could possibly be the next Sorcerer Supreme?"
Wong: "..."
I'm utterly speechless, but why am I actually a teensy bit tempted?
In space.
Before he knew it, Tony Stark had been stranded in deep space for over ten days.
The bad news was that the sorcerer and the young kid traveling with him had turned to dust, and the Guardians of the Galaxy he had encountered along the way had been virtually wiped out too. Only Thanos's adopted daughter, Nebula, had survived, just like him.
The good news was that he at least had a living companion to huddle together with for warmth, and the Guardians of the Galaxy had left behind a spaceship capable of interstellar travel.
Well, although the ship's space-jump drive had been damaged in the battle on Titan and there was little usable fuel left, at least it could still fly with some repairs.
On a godforsaken planet like Titan, having a vehicle that could take them home was already a blessing
