The Captain's throat bobbed. After a moment of silence, he finally spoke with relief. "Everything is all right now, Your Majesty."
"Is it?" T'Challa was somewhat puzzled, but still said happily, "That's wonderful!"
"They're back!!"
"Yes! Yes!"
"We did it!"
As Rocket Raccoon let out the first strange cry of celebration, the Avengers Compound, which had spent twenty days in tension and silence, finally emerged from its gloom and plunged into a sea of joy.
Josen opened his arms and caught a shapely figure, then heard Natasha's voice, her emotions barely contained. "Thank you."
"You're welcome."
Josen turned his hand over to show the "Infinity Gauntlet" he had brought under control, then casually took it off and placed it on the workbench at the front of the conference table.
That was precisely where this nanometal "Infinity Gauntlet" had been created.
"It was no trouble."
Josen and Natasha exchanged a smile.
Meanwhile, seeing that Josen had not claimed the "Infinity Gauntlet" for himself after snapping his fingers, quite a few people who had been quietly watching breathed sighs of relief.
They could hardly be blamed for being so cautious. An artifact of this caliber, in the hands of a suitable wielder, was bound to keep plenty of people awake at night.
Such was the complexity of human nature.
It was fortunate that Nick Fury was not at the New Avengers Base. Otherwise, given the severity of his paranoia, he would probably already have devised no fewer than twenty plans to deal with Josen and the "Infinity Gauntlet"!
Josen did not mind, though. These "Infinity Stones" on the gauntlet all had to be returned to other universes, so naturally, he would not keep them for himself.
Otherwise, if the missing stones caused the timelines of other parallel universes to fall into disorder
