The maddeningly catchy music rang out over the mountain road. After their initial surprise, everyone in the car eventually found themselves bobbing their heads along.
F-kid, today's limited-edition DJ, was still scratching invisible turntables: It's a buff! I've given everyone a cheesy dance music buff!!
Mr. Popo in particular could barely resist dragging Josen out of the driver's seat, taking his place, and flooring the accelerator himself whenever he heard bits of French pop up in the song!!
Unfortunately, dragging him out wasn't an option.
Because he probably couldn't beat him in a fight!!
But Josen didn't disappoint Mr. Popo either. He floored the accelerator, and an enormous surge of power far beyond the minivan's limits burst from its mechanical innards!
A stream of scorching flame suddenly shot out of the exhaust as though the vehicle had a nitrous boost, startling the red sports car hot on their heels!
Before its driver could slow down, the black exhaust that followed splattered across the windshield, and a fit of startled coughing immediately erupted inside.
By the time the red sports car recovered, the minivan ahead had already swung its tail out in a smooth, stylish drift around the bend, disappearing around the corner of the mountain road!
By now, the scenery outside the minivan's windows had blurred into abstract lines hurtling backward.
Viewed from above, a minivan moving like a crazed rabbit could be seen tracing a lightning-fast S-shaped path to the beat of the maddening music before vanishing at the far end of the mountain road!
