The first thing Josen did after coming to his senses was dispel the force field he had set up earlier.

Immediately afterward, a figure moving so fast he was a blur crashed through the railing with a boom, streaking past his eyes.

Josen: "..."

An azure glow caught Saitama in midair, and the extraordinary weight fed back through his Psychic Power startled Josen.

It felt less like he had caught a five-foot-nine adult man and more like a solid lead ball the size of a person.

Saitama's biomagnetic field seemed to be spontaneously resisting Josen's Psychic Power.

Thinking of his own current condition, Josen couldn't help giving him a flat look.

You brat, so you're giving up on being human too!

He pulled Saitama back through the air as the latter waved his arms and legs curiously, then swept his hand. The broken, twisted metal railing writhed as though alive, reconnecting and returning to its original shape.

At a microscopic level invisible to the naked eye, beneath the magnetic field, the particles making up the material separated and recombined under the control of electromagnetic force, returning completely to their undamaged state. That was what had produced this scene resembling time turning backward.

Since Josen had Psychic Powers, none of the three found his casual repair of the railing surprising. They even thought it was only natural.

Only Josen knew the difference.

Before his breakthrough, he could only have forcibly magnetized and joined metal or other objects together, or manipulated electric charges to generate intense heat through friction and melt and forge them back into one piece.

He couldn't have manipulated particle structures and altered the state of matter with such ease as he did now.

With further development, many ideas he had previously been unable to realize could become reality.
