  • Saitama charged straight through the Monster Association headquarters’ base, leaving a human-shaped doorway as he ran inside.
  • Josen used Clap Both Hands and summoned a colossal wooden Buddha before casting Wood Release: Deep Forest Emergence.
  • The ground violently shook as enormous roots burst through the battlefield, destroyed buildings, and grew into a vast sea of trees around the headquarters.

King and Genos fought Monster King Orochi and Gyoro Gyoro beneath the Monster Association’s base, with King unleashing his Supa Saiyan King mode and Genos attacking on his own. The battle continued as Genos redirected part of his bombardment toward Gyoro Gyoro, who raised a psychic barrier.

  • Orochi healed his minor injuries and, at Gyoro Gyoro’s command, charged his serpent heads to fire Ultra-High-Temperature Breath at King and Genos.
  • King increased his magnetic field power and took control of Genos’s movements, guiding both of them through the crossing energy blasts while Genos fired at Orochi.
  • King activated Supa Saiyan King mode and struck Orochi with his 290,000-horsepower Imperial Destruction Barrage, smashing apart the serpent heads on Orochi’s body.
  • Gyoro Gyoro watched Orochi’s injuries and predicted that the battle would trigger another transformation, while Genos grew impatient with her and took back partial control of his body.
  • Genos redirected a rapid-fire Spiral-Accelerated Incineration Cannon barrage toward Gyoro Gyoro, who raised a psychic barrier to block it.

Ch. 477Genos: I let my guard down yet again...

Gyoro Gyoro’s gravity field badly damaged Genos after King was struck by Orochi, but Saitama arrived and caught the falling cyborg. King blamed himself for failing to protect Genos and powered up as Gyoro Gyoro sensed his growing threat.

  • Gyoro Gyoro absorbed Genos’s Incineration Cannon blasts into a gravitational force field and hurled it back at him.
  • Orochi struck King, disrupting Genos’s flight long enough for the force field to sever most of his body while leaving his core intact.
  • Saitama burst through a stone wall and found Genos tumbling into a crater.
  • King apologized for failing to look after Genos, who insisted that he had underestimated the enemy.
  • King’s King Engine began roaring as magnetic lightning flared, alarming Gyoro Gyoro while Saitama watched the two apologize to each other.

Ch. 478We were professionally trained; we just couldn't help ourselves

After Orochi recovered and evolved, King stayed behind to fight him while Saitama carried the battered Genos out of the chamber. Josen and Saitama sent Genos back to Dr. Kuseno for repairs and upgrades, leaving the battle to King and Saitama.

  • Gyoro Gyoro urged Orochi to show off his latest evolution, and King and Genos saw that Orochi had fully recovered and gained armored, spiked snake heads.
  • King asked Saitama to take Genos for treatment so he could challenge Orochi himself, and Saitama carried Genos toward the exit.
  • Gyoro Gyoro stopped Orochi from attacking Saitama and focused on contacting Dragon-level executives as King fought Orochi in the underground chamber.
  • Saitama and Josen laughed at Genos's battered appearance, then Josen used his power to send Genos back to Dr. Kuseno for repairs and an upgrade.
  • Genos agreed to leave the battlefield, and Saitama said he would handle the fighting.

Ch. 479Little Genos's upgrade plan

Josen brought the badly damaged Genos back to Dr. Kuseno’s laboratory, where he learned that the doctor was unsure he could safely transplant Genos’s brain into an Android body. Josen questioned why Dr. Kuseno had not asked him for help.

  • Josen took Genos through a portal to Dr. Kuseno’s laboratory after Genos apologized for the trouble.
  • Saitama found that the battlefield had been cleared of Monsters and declined Glasses’s invitation to eat with the recovering Heroes.
  • Genos accessed the laboratory and Dr. Kuseno took him to the operating room for repairs.
  • Josen pulled Dr. Kuseno aside and asked about the progress of Genos’s Android body project.
  • Dr. Kuseno explained that he could not guarantee a safe brain transplant, and Josen asked why the doctor had not come to him.

Ch. 480An Android, but Genos (Part One)

Josen used his Psychic Powers and Infinity Power to transfer Genos’s soul and original brain into the prepared Android body, giving him a living human body and overwhelming new strength. Genos awoke astonished by his heartbeat and power, then wondered whether something about his new body was off.

  • Josen reassured Dr. Kuseno and used Psychic Powers to open the cultivation chamber and lift out the Android body.
  • Josen brought Genos’s damaged cyborg body from the repair chamber and told him he would handle the repairs.
  • Josen stopped time in the laboratory and used Infinity Power to merge Genos’s soul and original brain into the Android body.
  • Genos felt his new human heart beating and discovered that his body possessed far greater power than his cyborg body.
  • Genos released a powerful aura that Josen’s Psychic Power field contained, then asked Josen whether something was unusual about his new body.
