Ch. 601The Golden Spirit that must not be betrayed

After the Crusaders defeated Kenny G., Avdol discovered a hidden Stand about to attack them, and Josen stopped time with a mysterious power just as Avdol was in danger. The chapter ended with Josen and DIO among the few beings able to think in the frozen world.

  • Mr. Popo withdrew his Stand after Kenny G. stopped moving, and Kakyoin explained how Tenore Sax’s illusions could have trapped them.

  • Josen and DIO remained able to think in the stopped world, and DIO reacted in disbelief.

Ch. 602Time Began to Flow Again!

Ch. 603Iggy: Josen was right!

After Josen saved the group from an enemy attack, the Crusaders prepared to confront DIO while Mr. Popo discovered that Iggy had chewed up his hair. Deep in the castle, DIO realized someone else could stop time and dismissed that power as an inferior imitation, while another guard vowed to fight the Crusaders.

  • Avdol reported that Josen had spotted the attack and saved the group, and Joseph warned that DIO's personal guards remained in the castle.
  • Mr. Popo worked himself into a battle frenzy over facing DIO until Josen pointed out that Iggy had chewed through his gelled hair.
  • Mr. Popo cried out at Iggy, and the others laughed while Flower apologized for forgetting to warn him.
  • DIO sensed that someone else could stop time, then convinced himself the ability was a weak imitation of his own Stand.
  • A guard named Vanilla Ice mocked the fallen guards and declared that he would defeat the Crusaders.
  • Mr. Popo repaired his hair and threatened to make dog-meat hot pot, while Josen urged him to tolerate Iggy for the sake of the group's unity.

Ch. 604Not Talking Like a Human Is Contagious

  • A maid begged the group to save her, but Jotaro recognized the disguise and punched her, exposing a man with a second face on the back of his head.

  • Jotaro's Star Platinum pummeled Dumbass, and Jotaro threatened to tear him apart unless he led them to DIO.
  • Dumbass asked Jotaro how he knew his nickname was Dumbass, leaving Jotaro speechless.
  • Dumbass told the group that DIO rested on the tower's top floor during the day and in the bedroom at night.
  • Dumbass identified Vanilla Ice and his Stand, Void Miasma, as the attacker who had left a hole in the door.

  • Mr. Popo asked Iggy to sniff out DIO, but Iggy barked furiously at him.

Ch. 606You Dare Kill My Horse?!

  • Josen grabbed the vampire after believing he had killed Iggy, but Iggy’s apparent corpse was revealed to be a Sand Clone.
  • The vampire’s claws broke against Josen’s arm, and F-kid punched his nose back into place before Josen tossed him aside.
  • Iggy trapped the vampire in a Sand Binding Coffin, filling his body with sand, but the vampire survived.
  • Josen used F-kid’s simulated Crazy Diamond ability to reassemble the vampire as a sandstone statue that remained conscious.
  • Josen called Iggy to leave, and Iggy hurried after him, leaving sandy paw prints behind.

Ch. 608Who in Their Right Mind Keeps a Diary?

  • Jotaro realized his sense of stopped time was right, as Star Platinum’s version update progressed.

Ch. 610Stardust Crusaders, assemble!

Jotaro realized DIO could stop time for about seven seconds, and the Stardust Crusaders prepared defenses and coordinated their abilities before confronting him. Josen gave the group Hamon protection and devised a team-up for Mr. Popo and Iggy, while DIO’s attack on hotel staff had already caused chaos in the street.

  • Jotaro recognized that DIO’s Stand stopped time and estimated that its duration had grown from five seconds to around seven.
  • Three hotel staff members were hurled into a car as corpses, and the horrified crowd reacted to the apparent murders.
  • Kakyoin, Avdol, Joseph, and Iggy proposed ways to defend the group or support the fight against DIO.
  • Josen stopped the group from rushing in and suggested that Mr. Popo and Iggy combine Silver Chariot’s thrown rapiers with Iggy’s sand shaping and flight.
  • Mr. Popo accepted Iggy’s help, and Josen distributed Hamon energy among the group, while Joseph asked for some too.

Ch. 611Wasn't It Perfectly Nuclear-Reasonable for a User to Beat Down His Stand?

Ch. 612Eat my Sunlight Yellow Over-Doraemon

  • Josen presented an official ID and claimed that he and Jotaro were investigating disappearances for Interpol, convincing the Egyptian patrol officer to let them past the police tape.
  • Josen and Jotaro found the hotel wrecked and realized that DIO had escaped through the back door toward the kitchen corridor.
  • The Flesh Bud-controlled servers attacked Josen and Jotaro, but Star Platinum and F-kid removed the Flesh Buds while Josen destroyed them with Hamon Overdrive.
  • Josen healed the servers, restoring their senses, but the women became infatuated with him and Jotaro.

  • DIO blasted through Iggy’s sand while searching for the Crusaders, then hesitated when he saw Josen near him during stopped time.
  • DIO escaped the sand and appeared before Joseph, who fled with Hermit Purple; DIO stopped time again and caught up to him.
  • DIO thrust his fingers toward Joseph’s neck, triggering the Hamon Josen had planted in Joseph’s body and burning two of DIO’s fingers.
  • After time resumed, Joseph realized DIO had attacked him and celebrated that the Hamon trap had worked.
  • DIO severed and lost his left forearm to escape the Hamon, then cursed Joseph in a dark alley.

DIO tried to escape the assembled Stardust Crusaders by stopping time, but Josen and Star Platinum revealed that DIO had badly misjudged their ability to act within it. The chapter ended with time still frozen as DIO’s escape failed.

  • DIO blurted out his login credentials, and Star Platinum logged in after secretly adapting to stopped time.
  • Josen appeared before DIO as Joseph Joestar, Muhammad Avdol, Noriaki Kakyoin, Jean Pierre Polnareff, and Iggy gathered around him.
  • DIO stopped time and charged at Josen, expecting Josen to be limited to two seconds of movement.
  • Josen sighed and unleashed an Ora barrage that battered DIO and sent him flying toward an apparent escape route.
  • DIO gloated as time stop neared its end, but time still could not flow when it should have resumed.

Ch. 617The World! But I stopped your Time Stop!

Jotaro revealed that he had learned to stop time and used it to overpower DIO, who had exhausted his own seven-second movement. Jotaro let DIO recover before challenging him to fight again, and DIO rose with renewed killing intent.

  • As DIO’s time stop neared its end, Jotaro stopped time for three seconds and flew up to confront him.

Ch. 618Eat My Road Roller Hamon Overdrive
