Naraku walked up to the gate and extended his hand. Highly corrosive acid spread across it, slowly eating away at the stone, though it was taking a little too long.
"Where's Qiu?" Inuyasha ran up with Kikyo on his back, only to find Naraku alone.
"Heh." Naraku sneered, unwilling to bother with them.
If Xu Zhiqiu hadn't been there, he wouldn't have stayed with them at all.
He mentally ordered Hakudoshi, who was fighting another demon, to bring the cannon over.
"Did Qiu go inside the cauldron?"
As Inuyasha spoke, he unleashed Wind Scar at the cauldron's entrance.
The stone gate didn't budge.
The atmosphere instantly grew heavy.
Kikyo's brows furrowed. She couldn't believe it.
Before they could think of a way to open the cauldron's entrance, a dense swarm of white insects appeared below, crawling toward them.
Inuyasha used Wind Scar to wipe out the poisonous insects below, only for another wave to crawl up.
Naraku simply floated into the air and watched coldly from the sidelines.
