Granny Kaede looked at Xu Zhiqiu, who was sitting nearby, and asked, "Miss Qiu, what do you plan to do from here?"
"Plans? I want to see if I can get home. Kagome, how do you get back to your modern world?" Xu Zhiqiu had no idea what to do, so she could only turn to Kagome, who had some experience with this.
Kagome thought for a moment and answered, "As soon as I jump into the Bone-Eater's Well, I end up in the old well in my own time. Do you want to give it a try?"
"All right, let's try it."
They rested for a while. Xu Zhiqiu followed Kagome to the Bone-Eater's Well.
Xu Zhiqiu looked down into the deep, dark well, then hurriedly averted her eyes and glanced at Kagome beside her, half doubtful. "Do I just jump straight down from here?"
"Yes, that's right." Kagome nodded.
"If I can't get back, won't I break my bones falling down there... Oh, whatever. I'll try." Muttering to herself, Xu Zhiqiu raised a foot onto the rim of the well and stared inside for a moment. Then she closed her eyes, looking utterly resigned to life or death. She might as well try treating a dead horse as though it were still alive. She wanted to go home!
At that thought, Xu Zhiqiu gritted her teeth and jumped straight down.
"Owww!" A piercing scream rang out.
Hearing Xu Zhiqiu's cry, Kagome hurried down to check on her.
