The Leopard Cat Lord had already lost his senses. He raised his other hand and slashed at Xia Lan and the other demons closest to him, a cold gleam flashing past.
Before Xia Lan and the others could react, stunned expressions appeared on their faces, and they collapsed to the ground.
The Leopard Cat Lord sucked his followers' souls into his body.
Dong Lan, who was fighting Inuyasha, froze as well. She stared blankly at Xia Lan and the others' bodies. "Xia Lan..."
Having devoured their souls, and with the Shikon Jewel empowering him, the Leopard Cat Lord's shriveled body gradually regained its original form as the moon reached its zenith above his head.
He had brown fur and wore battle armor. Two immensely long horns rose from either side of his feline head, with a smaller horn beside each ear on his forehead. His catlike eyes were golden, his fangs long and sharp, and his build tall and imposing.
Once restored, he looked at Inuyasha, Sesshomaru, and the others. "The Dog General's sons, are you? I'll suck the life out of you, hahaha!"
Sesshomaru frowned and pressed his lips together. Gripping his sword, he leaped up and struck at him with Tōkijin.
But Sesshomaru's attacks were child's play to him. He easily blocked them.
Seeing this, Inuyasha raised Tessaiga in both hands and unleashed the Wind Scar at him, but it failed to shake him in the slightest.
The Leopard Cat Lord looked at the Dog General's weak, helpless offspring, undisguised mockery on his face. "It's useless. Little pups, taste the resentment I've accumulated over all these years."
As he spoke, he raised his paws and fired his claws at both Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. When they dodged, white lightning burst from his claw tips, striking at them again.
