"I planted a seed, and at last it bore fruit..." Humming a song, a shadow with a long tail headed out with a hoe slung over his shoulder.
"Who was it? Who did this?" An enraged howl rang out nearby. The view drew closer, revealing a Dark Tower standing where the little banana plant had been planted. Dark energy spread out, corroding everything around it. Naturally, the little bananas had become rotten bananas.
"My king, save me! My king!" A rabbit-like Digimon crawled out of the mouth of a nearby lion statue, clung to his thigh, and wailed.
"Hmm, Gazimon, were you the one who hurt my little bananas?" As he spoke, a large hand clamped around Gazimon's neck. If the answer failed to satisfy him, Gazimon would be executed the very next moment.
"No, my king! The Digi-Destined Emperor did all this. He also uses something to control us. We have no way to fight back!" Gazimon dared not make the slightest move to resist, answering obediently while dangling in midair.
"Are you talking about those things?" The king pointed behind Gazimon, where a swarm of Black Rings was following him.
"My king, those are the things! Save me! Once one goes around your neck, the Digi-Destined Emperor controls you. It's awful!" Gazimon began struggling violently, leaving the king inexplicably irritated. Gazimon wasn't scared when I grabbed him by the neck, but seeing these things frightened him this badly. Doesn't that mean they're scarier than I am?
"Are they really that scary?" The king gave Gazimon a doubtful look, then glanced at the Black Rings before extending his hand and exposing Gazimon to them. A Black Ring flew over and slipped around Gazimon's neck.
In an instant, Gazimon's eyes turned completely red, and he began attacking the king frantically.
