With both arms severed, even Gargomon could not help letting out a muffled groan. Just as Zheng Fan was about to stop, Gargomon leaped up. "Super Tornado!"
It was an ability inherited from Terriermon. Gargomon flapped his ears with all his might, whipping up a violent storm. Within the area enveloped by the Digimon battlefield, everything that had not been secured was swept into the storm and hurled toward Zheng Fan under Gargomon's control.
Faced with this, even Zheng Fan could only grip the Night Dawn Sword and put everything he had into defending himself.
"Guilmon Cannon!"
"Fox Leaf Pact!"
A red flash and a layer of white light exploded in front of Gargomon, forcing him back. Takato seized the opportunity to rush over and steady the swaying Zheng Fan.
"Guilmon, Renamon, Ruki, don't do anything rash! It's me!" Gargomon hurriedly shouted when he saw Guilmon and Renamon eyeing him menacingly.
"Who are you? You know us?" Ruki took out her Digivice and began scanning Gargomon.
"Ahem, Ruki, Takato, don't worry. He's Gargomon, Terriermon's evolved form." Zheng Fan was uninjured, but his breathing was somewhat uneven.
"Ah, you're Terriermon? But I just attacked you! Are you hurt?" Guilmon asked apologetically.
"I'm fine. But who is this guy? He was trying to steal Henry's Digivice just now." Gargomon stared at Zheng Fan. There was little anger in his eyes, but his blazing fighting spirit was more frightening than anger.
"He's Zheng Fan, from the Celestial Empire. He's... he's a good person." Takato tilted his head and thought for a moment before giving Gargomon that answer.
"Gargomon, your hands..." Renamon asked hesitantly. Unsure whether Gargomon was simply a Digimon without hands, Renamon felt a little awkward.
"Oh, I almost forgot about that. Calumon, it's up to you." Zheng Fan brought Calumon out.
