Zheng Fan and the others discussed parallel worlds while watching another world’s events, where the Digimon Hunters matured and allied with warriors summoned from other worlds. The hunters defeated Crystal Worldmon’s forces and Ryoma Mogami captured the Brave Snatcher, their last weapon against him.

• Izzy Izumi explained that parallel worlds were sandbox worlds, and Sora asked Zheng Fan what would happen to alternate versions of her if she ascended.
• Zheng Fan considered how ascension might affect parallel worlds and realized that one possibility could annihilate them all.
• Taiki explained that Crystal Worldmon relied on copied Digimon, while Agumon, a golden warrior, and Korikakumon joined the fight against Ultimate Myotismon.
• Tentomon revealed that the Old Man of Time and Space had summoned help from other worlds to train the Digimon Hunters.
• After the hunters repelled Crystal Worldmon’s attack, Ryoma Mogami captured the Brave Snatcher with the combined support of six generations of saviors.

Zheng Fan helped the Saviors recapture the Brave Snatcher and stopped Crystal Worldmon from consuming the world, then confronted the Golden-Horned King and exposed the Seventh Mainframe’s scheme involving Biyomon’s dream. With Crystal Worldmon destroyed and the world restored, Zheng Fan and Starflight Hawk captured the traitor.

• Astamon, controlled by Astashelan, struck Taiki and shattered the Brave Snatcher before the Saviors forced Astamon out, and Astashelan triggered waves that began converting the world into data.
• Clockmon stopped time, and Zheng Fan arrived with older versions of his companions, used the Hunting Gear to help the Saviors capture the Brave Snatcher again, and encouraged Tagiru to complete the hunt.
• Tagiru and Seadramon entered the water and emerged with the Brave Snatcher, while Zheng Fan protected everyone from the data waves and went to confront the Golden-Horned King.
• The Golden-Horned King revealed that Crystal Worldmon was powered by the Heavenly Crystal Hangar, and Zheng Fan overpowered him with power supplied by the Digimon World.
• Starflight Hawk explained that the Seventh Mainframe had created a real parallel world from Biyomon’s dream and had schemed to exploit Sora’s ascension, but Zheng Fan and his allies had already destroyed that plan.
• Zheng Fan and Starflight Hawk captured the Golden-Horned King, and Tagiru and Huntingdramon destroyed Crystal Worldmon’s core with the Brave Snatcher, restoring the world.

Takato and Henry discovered that Ruki had secretly learned magic and summoned Renamon from the Digimon World. Ruki revealed she was preparing for a duel with Ryo Akiyama, and Henry reassured her that he would face the challenge with her.

• Takato and Henry searched for Ruki, then learned from Rumiko that she had stayed home to study something strange.
• Henry found a rooftop vantage point where he and Takato could watch Ruki drawing talismans in her room.
• Renamon appeared and saved Takato from falling off the roof, then told the boys that Ruki would explain her research.
• Ruki revealed that she had used magic to summon Renamon and explained that summoning required a connection to the Digimon being called.
• Ruki admitted she had begun studying magic because she had agreed to duel Ryo Akiyama.
• Henry comforted Ruki and told her they would face Ryo together, while Takato and Renamon were left forgotten.

• Takato suggested that Ruki’s magic came from her bond with Renamon, and Henry agreed that she needed help understanding how to use it.
• Takato and Henry discussed taking everyone to a magic world, but worried that Ruki would refuse their help.
• With help from the Space-Time Administration Bureau, Takato secretly used a Magic Circle to travel to a research-oriented magic world.
• Takato heard a fight and found a Red-Clad Man battling a Blue-Clad Man, then shouted in admiration and drew their attention.

Shirou Emiya learned about the Fifth Holy Grail War after Takato Matsuki vanished, then tried to summon a Heroic Spirit with Takato’s goggles. The goggles activated the magic circle and summoned someone, while the merging Digimon Worlds descended into a struggle over who would rule the new world.

• Shirou Emiya and Takato Matsuki escaped through a corridor, but Takato vanished before Rin Tōsaka could speak with Shirou.
• Rin Tōsaka explained the Holy Grail War and asked Shirou to cooperate, while Takato warned that the world was rejecting him and asked Shirou to help his friend learn magic.
• Takato disappeared, leaving Shirou his goggles, and Shirou decided to enter the war to fulfill Kiritsugu’s wish and become a hero of justice.
• Shirou entered the magic circle, and Takato’s glowing goggles triggered it, summoning a powerful presence that hauled Shirou to his feet.

• A cloaked Caster summoned Kouji Minamoto on Mount Ryuudou and explained that he was dead and had been called to fight in the Holy Grail War.
• Kouji remembered his brother Koichi’s perseverance and resolved to keep fighting and trust that his friends would not abandon him.
• Bazett encountered Angra Mainyu after Kirei Kotomine killed her, then accepted a contract that severed her body and soul and granted her soul immortality.
• Bazett learned how Angra Mainyu had become a Heroic Spirit and sensed warmth as a firebird purified the evil in the surrounding sludge with love.

Shinji Matou withdrew from the Holy Grail War after Kirei Kotomine offered him a chance to keep fighting with an uncontracted Heroic Spirit. At Homurahara Academy, Rider’s Blood Temple endangered the students, and Shirou’s Command Spell summoned Agumon, who burned through the Dragon Tooth Warriors as someone at the old Matou residence sensed his arrival.

• Kirei asked Shinji whether he would withdraw, then offered him a chance to join forces with an uncontracted Heroic Spirit after hearing him blame Rider for his defeat.
• Kirei wondered why the Yagami, an ancient Martial Path family, had appeared in Fuyuki and considered their possible interest in the Holy Grail.
• Shinji used his final Command Spell to force Rider to activate her incomplete Blood Temple at Homurahara Academy, draining the students and summoning Dragon Tooth Warriors.
• Shirou and Rin found the students collapsed, protected Sakura, and fought the Dragon Tooth Warriors as their numbers grew.
• Shirou spent a Command Spell to summon Agumon, who appeared and destroyed the Dragon Tooth Warriors with Baby Flame.

Rin, Shirou, and Agumon discovered that Sakura had attacked them while under Caster’s control, and Agumon stopped Sakura’s dangerous magic. T.K. and Kari arrived and took Sakura away so Angemon could try to heal her, leaving Rin and Shirou to face the mystery of Caster and the old man.

• Rin, Shirou, and Agumon reached the first floor, where they found Shinji terrified and Rider dead.
• Rin deduced that Caster’s Master was someone they knew, but Sakura appeared and overwhelmed her with endless magic missiles.
• Sakura’s magical energy turned into dangerous sludge, and Agumon knocked her unconscious with a Baby Flame.
• Rin and Shirou realized Caster had been controlling Sakura, while T.K. and Kari arrived with Patamon and blamed an old man for Sakura’s condition.
• T.K. and Kari decided to risk being eliminated to help Sakura, and Patamon digivolved into Angemon and flew away with them and Sakura.

Gudako and the Chaldea group searched the forest for the Einzbern castle, then met Miyako Inoue and her injured partner Hawkmon. Miyako agreed to guide them through a hidden tunnel to the castle, where Illya was staying.

• Gudako, Mash, James, Fou, and the Doctor searched the snowy forest for the Einzbern castle and discussed why they needed to protect Illya.
• James struck down a giant bird with Tsubame Gaeshi, but the bird vanished and left behind Miyako Inoue and her injured partner, Hawkmon.
• Gudako told Miyako that an eighth Heroic Spirit was exploiting the Holy Grail War, and Miyako agreed to take the group to the Einzbern castle.
• Miyako revealed that she had visited the Space-Time Administration Bureau and explained that Hawkmon could not evolve without Illya's help.
• Miyako led the Chaldea group into a hidden tunnel beneath a tree and explained how the Einzbern used data energy and Command Spells to navigate the passages.

Sakura Matou was freed from the Matou family's insects, while the Holy Grail War escalated into battles that devastated Ryūdō Temple and drew the factions into a temporary truce. A mysterious castle appeared among the ruins, and the surviving fighters reached a girl in a Wizard Hat.

• Tentomon and the others killed the insects tormenting Sakura Matou, and T.K. Takaishi told her she could pursue the life she wanted.
• Sakura's will gave Champion-stage Digimon legitimate status, freeing Kouji and triggering other changes across Fuyuki City.
• Ancient King attacked Irisviel Castle on the fifth day, was gravely wounded, and realized his opponent was older than he was.
• On the sixth day, factions attacked Ryūdō Temple; Caster sacrificed himself, Miyako and Iori gave Imperialdramon a chance to fight Susanoomon, and the battle forced the survivors into a temporary truce.
• A vast castle appeared on the ruins of Ryūdō Temple, and the factions fought their way inside to meet a girl wearing a Wizard Hat.

A mysterious song put Fuyuki City to sleep and suppressed the Digimon, while the King of Heroes and the priest prepared an attack on Mount Ryuudou. Koji Wada’s singing restored the Digimon and empowered them to defeat the King of Heroes; days later, Koji refused Genai’s plea to return to the Digimon World and disappeared into the human crowd.

• A girl’s Seven Kills Song subdued the Digimon and lulled Fuyuki City into sleep, while two exhausted visitors sabotaged the substation and plunged the city into darkness.
• The priest and the King of Heroes set out to attack Mount Ryuudou, and the King of Heroes fired Enuma Elish from the King's Protection Cannon at the Castle.
• A man emerged from the substation ruins and sang, restoring the Digimon’s strength and allowing them to digivolve while Koji Wada’s song replenished the Heroic Spirits’ magical energy.
• The Digimon reached Mega forms and destroyed the King of Heroes’ Noble Phantasms and Gate of Babylon, ending the battle as the world fell silent.
• Days later, Genai asked Koji to lead the newly unified Digimon World, but Koji said he was human and disappeared into the crowd.
