"What did you say? I'm a Heroic Spirit you summoned, and I'm supposed to help you fight over some Holy Grail?" a young, commanding voice rang out.

"Let go! Let go! You're going to kill me!" Shirou Emiya flailed comically as he dangled in midair.

"Eh, forget it. A weakling like you couldn't cause much trouble." With a flick of one hand, the man tossed Shirou Emiya away.

"Boss, where are you? Why can't I get out? Boss, hurry up and let me out!" Another voice came from his waist.

As that voice rang out, Shirou Emiya felt a tingling on the back of his hand. Looking down, he saw a strange symbol that had been branded there without his noticing. At the same time, he could clearly sense that the symbol consisted of three powerful forces. That power, in turn, had an inexplicable connection to something else in an unknown location.

"This is..." Shirou Emiya began, reaching for the phone-like object hanging at the other man's waist, only to be sent flying by a punch.

"Let me teach you something today: touch someone else's stuff without asking, and you'll get punched. Remember, the man standing before you is Marcus Damon, the number one brawler in all of Japan." So declared Marcus Damon, who had just punched the homeowner across his own house.

Marcus Damon and Agumon were not appointed partners, DigiDestined, or a Tamer and his Digimon. Their friendship had been forged with their fists. If anything could be called the object binding their contract, it was the Digivice at Marcus Damon's waist. But their friendship was no weaker than anyone else's. Right now, however, Marcus Damon felt a serious threat. The little brother he had acknowledged seemed to have developed some inexplicable connection with the loser before him.
