Cao De and Flender left the wooden cabin.
"Dean, I just remembered I have something to do, so I'll be going." Cao De left as soon as he finished speaking.
Flender was still bewildered. He could not figure out what Cao De had come here for.
Cao De did not care what Flaide thought. Tang San was now in a stupor, which had indirectly accomplished his goal.
As for why Tang San was in a stupor, Flender's earlier, subtle look suggested he had something to do with it. Flender certainly would not let Tang San wake up, and that was all Cao De needed-it worked in his favor.
Cao De had no interest in the reasons behind it.
His second task now was to have a chat with his system, which had disappeared for so long.
It was not that Cao De did not want to rely on the system. The system was simply too unreasonable, and earning Emotion Points was barely worth the effort.
Back then, Cao De had screwed Tang San over again and again, but afterward, no matter how intense Tang San's emotions became, he only earned ten Emotion Points. Yet upgrading Laser Eyes cost 1,000 Emotion Points.
After "working himself to death," he had only managed to save up a little over five hundred Emotion Points. The disparity was too great for Cao De to stomach.
The thought filled Cao De with sorrow. His system was so lousy.
Complaints aside, Cao De still called out inwardly to the system. System, is there a mark I can plant on someone that will let me teleport to them wherever I am?
[One-Time Teleportation Mark: 100 Emotion Points]
Can't you make it cheaper? Give me a discount?
[Broke-ass.]
Fuck! Give me three.
[300 Emotion Points consumed. One-Time Teleportation Mark ×3 obtained. Host's remaining Emotion Points: 65. Seriously broke.]
Cao De shut the system off, cursing under his breath. It was getting more and more infuriating.
Cao De shut the system off, cursing under his breath.
Standing below the girls' dormitory, Cao De called out several times. Neither Ning Rongrong nor Xiao Wu appeared, but Zhu Zhuqing poked her head out.
"Those two haven't come back."
Still not back? What have they gone off to do?! Cao De grumbled inwardly.
"Zhu Zhuqing, come down. I need to tell you something." Cao De cupped his hands around his mouth like a megaphone, looking rather comical.
Zhu Zhuqing leaped down from the window and landed steadily beside Cao De.
"What is it?"
"I'll be leaving the academy the day after tomorrow. I have some things to take care of, and I might be gone for quite a while. Rongrong and Xiao Wu can be impulsive and emotional, so please look after them if anything happens," Cao De said slowly.
"All right." Zhu Zhuqing nodded in agreement.
"Thanks." Cao De patted Zhu Zhuqing's shoulder, slipping the mark into her as he did so.
"No problem," Zhu Zhuqing replied calmly.
"That's everything. Bye." Cao De waved at Zhu Zhuqing.
"Bye."
Cao De returned to his room, sat cross-legged on the bed, and summoned his Martial Soul, the Thousand-Blade Demon Sword.
His eyes slowly closed as he quietly sensed the direction it pointed him in.
A glacier, a lakebed, lava, a box-one blurry image after another flashed through Cao De's mind.
The view of the box suddenly pulled back, revealing a gray table and the emblem on the box.
Cao De slowly opened his eyes. Those were all the images he had seen. He recognized the emblem-it belonged to the Star Luo Empire's royal family.
It looked like his first stop would be Star Luo City.
The sun rose in the east. Before Cao De could begin his morning cultivation, a knock came at the door.
"Brother, Brother, stop sleeping! Time to get up!" Xiao Wu's playful voice rang out from outside.
Cao De briskly opened the door. "What's wrong, Xiao Wu?"
"You'll find out in a bit." Xiao Wu took Cao De's hand and led him downstairs.
Ning Rongrong approached, and the two girls each linked arms with him.
"Where are we going now?" Cao De eyed the two girls suspiciously.
"Brother Cao De, you'll find out soon." Ning Rongrong tugged him sharply again, sinking his arm deep between her breasts.
The three boarded a carriage and headed for Suotuo City.
Inside the carriage, the two girls began whispering in each other's ears. Cao De tried to eavesdrop, only for Xiao Wu to send him straight outside to drive.
The carriage entered Suotuo City. With one girl on each arm, Cao De arrived at the Rose Hotel under the envious gazes of the other men.
Cao De's eyes lit up. Were two phoenixes about to play with one dragon?
Without another word, the two girls led Cao De into the hotel restaurant.
"So we came here just to eat?" The light in Cao De's eyes gradually faded.
"That's right. The food here is delicious," Xiao Wu said with a smile. "Brother, you have to give it a proper try today."
Cao De chuckled and sat down in a chair. "Then let's eat together."
Dish after dish arrived, though today's food was rather unusual: chicken soup with Chinese yam, lamb, and spinal cord meat.
Having had the Anti-Tang Sect Manual instilled into him, Cao De understood medicine.
They're trying to boost my virility!! A smile spread across Cao De's face, and he happily began eating.
The two girls occasionally added more food to Cao De's plate-ginseng and chives-and he ate it all without hesitation.
"I'm full. I can't eat another bite." Cao De rubbed his stomach and leaned back in his chair.
"Then let's play a little game to help us digest," Ning Rongrong said with a sly smile.
And so Cao De was pulled upstairs into the largest room on the second floor.
The room now looked completely different. A low table stood on a snow-white, plush carpet, with wineglasses, fruit, and a bamboo tube arranged on top.
The pink bed from last time had also been replaced with an even larger one. All the furnishings had been changed; clearly, someone had put great care into arranging everything.
"So this was what you were busy with yesterday." Cao De was genuinely stunned.
"It wasn't much work. I've prepared a new game. Come play!" Ning Rongrong was the first to take off her shoes. Her snow-white socks stepped onto the equally snow-white carpet as she scampered over to the low table.
Xiao Wu and Cao De sat down beside the low table in turn, forming a triangle with Ning Rongrong.
"What game?" Cao De asked.
Ning Rongrong shook the bamboo tube and said with a smile, "You'll find out in a moment."
"Xiao Wu, you draw first."
"Me first?!" Xiao Wu pointed at her own nose, her little face flushed.
"It's fine." Ning Rongrong shook the bamboo tube.
Xiao Wu drew a slip from it. After glancing at what was written on it, she blushed with embarrassment.
A little educational tidbit.
Anyone who has used facial cleanser knows.
You have to keep rubbing facial cleanser to wash the grime off your face properly, but if you open your eyes while using it, you might hurt them.
"Little Sister Xiao Wu, I drew this one." Ning Rongrong deftly took off her outer garment.
Cao De was utterly stunned. He finally understood that his so-called study materials from before were far too lowbrow to make it onto the table.
"Cao De, come here," Ning Rongrong said with a coquettish laugh.
[Ning Rongrong toward the host... Emotion Points obtained: 10]
[Xiao Wu toward the host... Emotion Points obtained: 5]
Why only five Emotion Points? System, are you mocking me? Cao De grew furious.
[Xiao Wu toward the host... Emotion Points obtained: 6]
"I want to sleep."
"It was your idea. You do it."
"You go. You ordered the lamb."
"You ordered chives too. You go."
