Roald trained in the Titan Mindscape as usual. He only had one month to use it, but time flowed a hundred times faster there than in the outside world. He had already spent an entire year training in the Titan Mindscape.
For three hundred days in the Titan Mindscape, Roald had studied and trained twenty-four hours a day. He never felt tired or sleepy there, and he could simulate any situation. He had already mastered every firearm and fighting technique on the Marley Continent, despite being only two years old.
Every day, he dreamed of Chen Si killing him. His dreams were filled with Chen Si and the Eldia people of Paradis Island slaughtering them to the last person. He dared not stop for even a moment. Marcel's final obsession had already been etched into the Jaw Titan's blood.
That morning, after eating the breakfast Mrs. Galliard had made, he entered the Titan Mindscape to train. This time, however, a dazzling light at the far end of the boundless silver desert caught his attention.
He had never encountered anything so strange.
"System! What is that?" Roald called out to the system, but no matter how long he waited, it gave no response.
Roald tried to approach the light, but however far he moved, he seemed to remain in the same place. Sensing that there was something extraordinary about it, he ran forward with all his might, yet still could not get any closer.
Just as Roald was about to give up, the enormous mass of light suddenly flared with blinding radiance and enveloped him. When the light faded, he felt his blood boiling. Unable to restrain himself any longer, he roared and transformed into the Jaw Titan.
