Gabi stared blankly at the corpse before her.
Behind Gabi, a figure slowly approached, his shadow engulfing her. Her eyes brimming with tears, she looked up in a daze and saw Chen Si. Arcs of electricity coiled around his imposing, six-foot frame, and his gaze, utterly indifferent to life, made him look terrifying.
"You're from Paradis Island. You're the Lightning Ruler Zeke talked about... You've been hiding among us all along..." Gabi's pupils trembled as she finally understood everything.
"Udo, no!!!" Falco was desperately pressing down on Udo's chest, but blood was already pouring from all seven of his facial orifices. He was clearly close to death.
Falco looked around in despair, seeing nothing but ruins and a string of explosions. The ground was littered with Marleyan soldiers' corpses, and figures using Vertical Maneuvering Equipment darted through the air everywhere. At last, he spotted Chen Si.
