Aboard the vast Airship, the only sounds were Eren and his two companions recounting what had happened between Ming and Bai Yu. The atmosphere around them was rather quiet.
Time slowly passed. The weather caused no trouble-no storms or tornadoes-and they continued flying steadily toward the Marley Continent.
A Survey Soldier came in and addressed Bai Yu.

Bai Yu unfolded his map and checked the distance, then opened the window beside him and looked down at the landscape along the edge of the Marley Continent, where there were hardly any Titans.
That made sense. During their recent expeditions, Bai Yu had generally had Annie gather the Titans together, then had Jay transform into the Colossal Titan and unleash an explosion. They had cleared out quite a few Pure Titans this way, making it safer to explore the towns.
Things were different now. Before, retrieving him after the nuclear blast had posed certain risks, but now they could simply bring the Airship close and send two people down to pull him out of the Colossal Titan's nape.
