The sisters Uchiha Inari and Miki were still roaring with laughter, their heads thrown back and their white teeth showing. Their childish laughter swept through the forest like a raging storm, loud enough to give everyone a headache. It was, one could say, full of the Uchiha Clan's distinctive flair.
Subjected to that maddening laughter, Hōzuki Oborozuki felt as though countless invisible needles were stabbing his ears. He clamped his hands over them, but the laughter seemed to penetrate everything, worming its way into his head through every gap.
Unable to stand it any longer, he sprang to his feet and complained loudly:
