"What did you two little brats just say?!"
Deeply wounded by his own granddaughter calling him a "fat bastard," Uchiha Yan roared. The fat all over his body quivered uncontrollably as he charged over, grabbed Miki and Inari, and gave them a sound thrashing.
Astonishingly, this wobbling mass of fat was actually quite nimble. The clansmen watching nearby could almost see the Akimichi Clan's Human Bullet Tank in action. Miki and Inari hadn't even stopped laughing when, unable to dodge in time, they were hoisted up and beaten.
The two wonderfully "filial" granddaughters let out piercing cries under the beating. In their panic, they begged for mercy, shouting almost instinctively:
"Grandpa, stop hitting us! We won't do it again!"
The moment they called him Grandpa, Miki and Inari froze. Both scrutinized the fat man before them, suddenly catching a hint of familiarity amid all that shaking flesh-
Hmm, why did those moves and that force feel a little like Grandpa's?
Puzzled and uncertain, they exchanged a knowing glance and asked quietly:
"Grandpa? You're back?"
"Finally recognized me? I thought you didn't even know your own grandfather anymore!"
Seeing realization dawn on Miki and Inari, Uchiha Yan snorted and angrily thumped them a few more times.
He'd only filled out a little and gotten a bit plumper. Was he really that hard to recognize?
"Old Man Yan, how did you get so fat?"
The surrounding Uchiha clansmen were dumbfounded too. They stared at Uchiha Yan for so long that he grew embarrassed before finally recognizing the familiar look beneath that face full of fat.
Once they recognized the old fellow, their expressions could no longer be called shocked. They were downright horrified.
