That afternoon, Hashirama promptly took a Medical Ninja from his clan to the Uchiha Clan Compound.
Unlike the Senju Medical Ninja, who looked so nervous she might drop dead at any moment, Hashirama looked as though he had returned to his happy home away from home. Utterly relaxed and content, he waved at every Uchiha he met along the way. Whenever he spotted an adorable Uchiha child, he reached out to pinch their pale little cheeks. And whenever he encountered one of the Uchiha's ninja cats, his wicked hands scooped the furry little creatures into his arms for a hearty dose of face-burying cuddles!

The Uchiha whom Hashirama had harassed into bristling with anger dared not voice their outrage. Like enraged wolves, they lurked in shadowy corners, baring their teeth at the grinning Hashirama as though they might leap out and tear his throat open at any moment.
The sight made the already terrified Senju Medical Ninja tremble even harder. She reached out and poked Hashirama Senju, who was hopelessly absorbed in petting cats, only to receive this reply:
"Don't worry, Morika. They're just welcoming us."
"Really? Why does it look nothing like what you're saying?"
Finding herself this close to the notoriously evil Uchiha Clan for the first time in her life, Mori Senju was as frantic as an ant on a hot pan. Hashirama's reassurance did nothing to calm her down; she only grew more nervous.
"Clan Head, please don't lie to me!"
Mori Senju was a clan Medical Ninja who specialized in Medical Ninjutsu. Unlike the Uchiha's half-trained quacks, she possessed exceptional medical skills, and her chakra control ranked among the best in her clan.
