Wha... what?!!!
Chinatsu twisted her head at an exaggerated angle and saw what had just happened. Though she trusted Naruto and Sasuke to protect her, what the hell was that kick to Kinshiki's head out of nowhere? Were these two using cheats?!
In fact, they really were using cheats. Their power-up had come so suddenly that, never mind Chinatsu, even Naruto and Sasuke had initially been utterly baffled.
One minute before those four sneaky bastards invaded their home, Naruto and Sasuke had still been meditating on their beds to cultivate chakra. Suddenly, as though someone had drugged them, they toppled over with a thud and went snoring their way into the mindscape-multiplayer edition.
Naruto: "What are you doing here?"
Sasuke: "Shouldn't I be the one asking that?"
The first thing they saw when they opened their eyes was each other. Since they were far too close, both hurriedly backed away, then turned their heads to scan their surroundings.
"Am I dreaming? That can't be right. If this really is a dream, and even Sasuke showed up, there's no reason Sister Chinatsu wouldn't be here. There's no way I'd get that order wrong."
Naruto muttered in confusion, while Sasuke, standing opposite him, was muttering much the same thing.
"Naruto? Just Naruto? Even if I accept Naruto being here, there's no way my sister wouldn't be. I couldn't possibly dream about Naruto alone. This definitely isn't a dream. Not even a nightmare would look like this."
Since they spent every day together, it wasn't as though they had never dreamed about each other. But being surrounded by an endless, empty expanse with only the other person present had never happened before.
This definitely wasn't a dream!
Yet Naruto and Sasuke easily saw through the deep mindscape that even Chinatsu hadn't immediately recognized.
