The person walking on his back had been a young woman weighing less than a hundred pounds, only for her to suddenly turn into a much heavier woman weighing several hundred pounds.
The abrupt change nearly threw his back out.
When the surrounding ninja saw the enormous red toad, a glimmer of hope appeared in their once-desperate eyes.

Then everyone looked toward the figure standing on Gamabunta's head.
It wasn't Jiraiya, whom they had hoped to see.
Instead, it was the blond-haired Minato Namikaze, wearing the Fourth Hokage's haori.
"Am I seeing things? Is that the Fourth Hokage?"
"It really looks like him..."

After throwing Gamabunta off, Naruto, in his Nine-Tails form, stared fixedly at Minato Namikaze as though a blood feud lay between them.
Seeing that look, Minato Namikaze thought, Naruto's acting is really good!
