Background / History

In his previous life, Chen Ming had neither parents nor anyone to rely on. After dying of a terminal illness, he transmigrated into Naruto Uzumaki. His knowledge of the original Naruto story gives him information about the world’s people, future conflicts, and methods of resurrection 1 4.

Both of Naruto’s parents died when he arrived. Rather than making becoming Hokage his central ambition, he wants to resurrect Minato and Kushina and finally experience parental love 1 4.

Konoha’s hostility drove him into isolation. Children injured his head with stones when he was two, and he largely stopped going outside by two and a half. He lived alone in a rundown two-story house, studying books, saving his allowance, and receiving meals from the Anbu 1.

Hiruzen protected Naruto from Danzo’s attempts to take him into Root, but political concessions prevented him from revealing Naruto’s parentage. Danzo spread rumors that Naruto was the Nine-Tails reincarnated, hoping the resulting mistreatment would turn him against Konoha 4 21.

Appearance

• Build: Small and skinny at the beginning of the story 1.

• Chakra manifestation: A Nine-Tails cloak surrounds him during Nen awakening, without the savage mental influence he initially feared 41.

Personality

Naruto is pragmatic about both friendship and survival. Although he can compel Wolffy inside the Sealing Space, he prefers to earn his cooperation through genuine friendship. He also initially leaves Kurama sealed because he fears the fox’s chakra could corrupt his thoughts 2 3.

He does not quietly accept abuse. He retaliates against children with stone-filled snowballs, forces Mizuki to apologize for mistreating him, and uses intimidating claims about the Hyuga Clan to frighten Hinata’s bullies. Nevertheless, the villagers’ hatred does not give him an ambition to slaughter Konoha 4 5 8 32.

Gaming is both his favorite diversion and a way to connect with others. He plays through Academy lessons he considers redundant, brings classmates into multiplayer games, and shares computers with Hinata. His irreverence extends to teasing Kurama and making jokes based on memories of his previous life 7 9 33 45.

Despite complaining about Zeff’s methods, Naruto repeatedly returns to training. His desire to revive his parents motivates his pursuit of strength, while his stated dream of world peace develops into an attempt to prevent the Uchiha massacre through technology rather than direct confrontation 18 22 33 39 48.

Sealing Space Authority

Naruto’s Sealing Space functions as a miniature world in which his words can produce objects and control Wolffy 2 5.

Jinchūriki and Consciousness Sharing

Discovering the Sealing Space

After first extracting chakra, Naruto discovers Wolffy alongside the sealed Nine-Tails. His materialization experiments and Wolffy’s inventions turn the space into a comfortable shared environment. Wolffy’s failed Dimensional Shuttle leaves him stranded, and Naruto shows his companions the original Naruto series to explain what he knows 1 2 3 11.

The series changes Kurama’s attitude: the fox recognizes Naruto as the person foretold by the Sage of Six Paths and privately resolves to support him 12.

Training and Academy Enrollment

Naruto wins Zeff’s agreement to teach him, commissions gravity and recovery equipment, and brings Rock Lee into their training. Their visible use of companion-controlled clones leads Hiruzen and others to mistake the arrangement for a mental illness; Zeff treats this misunderstanding as a convenient explanation 18 20 22 23 27 29 30.

At the Academy, Naruto challenges Mizuki’s discriminatory treatment and uses gaming to form connections with classmates. Mizuki later follows him into the forest and attacks, but Shisui intervenes before their first battle can reach a decisive outcome 32 33 36 37.

Preventing the Uchiha Massacre

Knowing that he lacks the strength to confront the forces behind the massacre, Naruto proposes a technological alternative: a Metaverse where the Uchiha can vent their grievances without being trapped in a deadly illusion 39.

He assigns scrap collection, interface construction, fundraising, and promotion to his companions and clones. Projector production and sales help finance the wider undertaking while he continues training in Nen and Haki 39 40 42 46 47.

Naruto then demonstrates the Metaverse to Shisui and proposes experience centers in central Konoha and the Uchiha compound, with Shisui managing the latter. Shisui leaves to consider the proposal because its consequences extend to the entire clan; the plan’s success is not yet established 48 49 50.
