Naruto arrived at the foot of the Hokage Office Building.
A huge noticeboard stood outside the Hokage Office Building.
Curious, Naruto approached the noticeboard, and the first thing he saw was a wanted poster.
The figure on the wanted poster was very blurry, but the eyes in the portrait suggested someone cunning and vicious.
The bounty was frighteningly high, too-a full 350 million.
How much was 350 million? That was ten Asumas...
"Holy shit! Who is this... what a badass."
As he spoke, Naruto began reading the information on this ninja.
"Blood Release Ninja, code name 'The Hidden.' Attacked the Third Hokage seven times and escaped flawlessly every time. According to Anbu investigations, this ninja is still hiding in Konoha. Please report any leads immediately. Rewards will also be offered for information!"
Blood Release Ninja? Was there a release like that in the original? And someone actually tried to assassinate the Third Hokage seven times...
Wait... blood?
"Holy shit..." Naruto felt as though he had stumbled upon the truth.
That so-called Blood Release Ninja was probably the Third Hokage himself.
He had coughed up blood seven times in a month. No wonder the Third looked so much thinner now.
Just as Naruto was marveling that the Third truly lived up to his title of Hokage, a Chunin standing at the entrance to the Hokage Office Building came up behind him and asked, "Kid, do you need something here?"
Naruto turned around and said, "I'm here to see the Third Hokage!"
Since Naruto spent most of his time cooped up at home, he couldn't come and go freely from the Hokage Office Building like the Naruto in the original.
"You want to see Lord Third? Come with me, then!"
After giving Naruto a long look, the Chunin led him into the Hokage Office Building.
"Lord Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki is here to see you!"
The Third Hokage, who was playing Plants vs. Zombies, immediately answered when he heard Naruto had arrived. "Let him in!"
Naruto then walked in alone.
Inside the Hokage's office, the Third's clone was handling paperwork while the real Hokage sat in front of a laptop.
The Third paused his game, then looked at Naruto. "Naruto, have you come up with a game suitable for an old man like me?"
"Yep!" Naruto nodded, then walked over to the computer. After closing Plants vs. Zombies, he began downloading Ninja Guide for him.
The Third stood behind Naruto. Just seeing the promotional poster for Ninja Guide made him want to play.
"Grandpa Third, you don't play the other games anyway, so I'll delete them for you!"
"Having so many games might slow things down, after all!"
Without waiting for the Third's approval, Naruto deleted all the other single-player games.
A little over ten minutes later, Ninja Guide finished downloading.
Seeing this, the Third lifted Naruto away from the computer without another word and eagerly opened Ninja Guide to play.
"If there's nothing else, I'll get going, Grandpa Third!"
At that, the Third waved to indicate Naruto could leave without even turning his head!
Seeing the state the Third was in, Naruto was speechless.
Come to think of it... plenty of people in the ninja world can generate electricity. If he keeps getting addicted, should I take him to get a few doses of Lightning Release therapy?
Kakashi's Lightning Blade would be pretty good for that!
After leaving the Hokage's office, Naruto headed home.
Having turned the Third Hokage into a gaming fan, Naruto wondered whether he should develop an entertainment industry in Konoha-or even across the entire Naruto world.
He could build up the gaming industry.
As Naruto walked with his head lowered in thought, he failed to notice someone standing ahead and crashed straight into him.
Naruto let out an "Ow!" and landed on his backside.
When Naruto looked up, he saw a table tennis paddle.
More precisely, it was the Uchiha Clan Crest, which looked like a table tennis paddle.
The Uchiha clan member Naruto had bumped into turned to look at him.
The moment the man turned around, Naruto recognized him. It was actually Uchiha Itachi.
"Are you all right, little guy?" Uchiha Itachi smiled gently, then pulled Naruto up from the ground.
Sasuke, who was coming out of the Dango Shop carrying Three-Color Dango, happened to witness the scene.
At this point, Sasuke was about Naruto's age. Unlike in the original, though, he didn't yet have that bitter, resentful look, as if everyone owed him a hundred bucks.
He always wore a smile around Itachi.
Seeing his older brother help some kid he didn't know immediately annoyed Sasuke.
Actually, Sasuke wouldn't have minded if Uchiha Itachi had helped anyone else. But for some reason, the sight of Naruto irritated him. That irritation seemed to come from deep within his soul.
Naruto tilted his head and saw Sasuke holding his dango, looking rather annoyed.
Well, well... if it isn't Uchiha Sasuke!
He really is good-looking. He'd probably look great in women's clothes!
After Itachi pulled Naruto up from the ground, Sasuke stepped forward and offered Itachi the dango in his hand.
Before Itachi could take it, however, Naruto snatched it away.
"You knocked me over. A skewer of dango as compensation isn't too much to ask, right?"
As he spoke, Naruto stuffed the dango into his mouth.
Sasuke immediately flew into a rage at the sight.
If Uchiha Itachi hadn't held him back, Sasuke really would have gone up and traded blows with Naruto!
"Heh... in that case, consider that dango my treat!"
Itachi was good-tempered and didn't mind Naruto's somewhat rude behavior at all.
Looking at Uchiha Itachi, Naruto thought, Such a gentle man, yet he's going to do something so cruel. This world... really is twisted!
The perceptive Uchiha Itachi suddenly detected pity in Naruto's expression.
That puzzled Uchiha Itachi, but he said nothing.
Just as Naruto was about to introduce himself, the Wolf-Head Vibrator in his pocket suddenly went off.
"Holy shit! Someone broke into my house..."
Muttering those words, Naruto forgot all about introducing himself to Uchiha Itachi and Sasuke Uchiha and took off toward home.
When he got home, the first thing Naruto saw was the empty desk.
Someone had made off with another complete laptop setup.
"Fuck! Who was it? If you wanted a computer, just ask me! Why steal my stuff without saying a word again?"
Naruto already had a pretty good guess about who had taken it.
Still, he needed to check the camera footage.
Naruto took a tablet out of a drawer and pulled up the surveillance footage.
Before long, he saw a sneaky figure slip into the room and make off with the entire computer setup.
"Just as I thought, the Anbu... no... Root, to be precise!"
"Is Danzo interested in my computers too?"
At that thought, Naruto began trying to remember whether there had been anything on the computer that shouldn't have been there.
For instance... the "study materials" that had been on it before... or the Naruto Shippuden game he had deleted long ago.
In fact, Naruto was usually quite careful. Any games, videos, manga, documents, or other material related to Naruto had either been deleted well in advance or had never been on the computer at all.
With the computer Danzo had taken, all he could check out were those few single-player games.
"Sekiro."

"Nioh 2."
