Naruto and Conan took a taxi to the Haido Hotel together.
As soon as they reached the entrance, Naruto's Observation Haki detected several hostile presences watching the hotel from the surrounding rooftops.
Seeing Naruto stop, Conan asked curiously, "What's wrong? Did you notice something?"
Naruto smiled and asked, "Have you called the police yet?"
Conan paused at the question, then said, "Yeah! I just called them using my real identity!"
"Tsk, tsk... Now that's trouble! From what I can tell, there are several snipers here. Those snipers could take out a whole lot of police officers!"
Naruto smiled at Conan. "You really know how to stir things up! First you get Gin's attention with a bug, then you call the police and have them come investigate!"
At that, Naruto slapped his hands together as if struck by a revelation. "You want the Black Organization to kill a bunch of police officers, and then... then get all of Japan to take this evil organization seriously? That's actually a great idea!"
Conan: ...
Conan rolled his eyes, then said, "I wasn't thinking that far ahead! Besides... it's just a bug. Why would they deploy so many snipers over it?"
Naruto was only joking, really. Conan still knew too little about the Black Organization to understand just how insane they were. Only after experiencing a few more clashes between red and black would he truly learn his lesson.
"So what do we do now? I've already called the police. Officer Megure will probably be here with his officers before long..."
"With me here, you don't need to worry about that for now. You should spend more time thinking about how to calm Ai Haibara's anger!"
Naruto's words only left Conan more confused.
