Night fell, and the city lights shone brightly. ζζ

The hazy neon lights flickered. A woman holding a bottle of Pulse stood before the greenery, glancing around from time to time as though waiting for someone. Both hands clasped the bottle, rubbing against it, while the heels of her high-heeled shoes tapped against the paving stones with a click-clack sound.

She took out her phone and checked the time. Just then, a man with slightly long, messy hair and a cigarette hanging from his mouth spotted the woman by the greenery. He took a deep drag, crushed the remaining cigarette butt, then flicked it lightly and sent it accurately into the nearby trash can.

"Hey~! Beautiful~!" The man walked up beside her, looking at the Pulse in her hands with a meaningful smile. Blushing furiously, she raised a hand and lightly slapped his chest.

The man took a step back and gave her a wicked grin. "Got time?"

"Mm." The woman nodded shyly. The man skillfully draped an arm around her shoulders, and the two walked intimately into the Night Breeze Romance Hotel nearby like a couple.

The next day, a woman's shrill, terrified scream shattered the morning's peace.

A few minutes later, amid piercing police sirens, patrol cars stopped outside the Night Breeze Romance Hotel. Soon afterward, a corpse covered in a white sheet was carried out.

The woman sitting in the police car wept bitterly as she haltingly recounted what had happened the previous night.

"I told him not to take so much, but he wouldn't listen... sob, sob, sob..."

The Nine-Tails watched the baby waving both hands as though he were extremely excited. Its ears twitched, and it narrowed its eyes.

"How strange!"

The Nine-Tails examined the baby in Kushina's womb. A thread of red Chakra as thin as a strand of hair wrapped around the baby's arm, traveling through the umbilical cord into the baby's abdomen.

"He used to lie still all the time, but he suddenly became so lively. What's going on?" The Nine-Tails studied the baby curled up in a ball, playing dead.

Fuck! Why was the Nine-Tails interested in me?! I'm just an innocent, weak little baby! Go find Minato Namikaze and Kushina! This has nothing to do with me!

That was what the baby playing dead thought.

After watching for a while, the Nine-Tails lazily yawned and snorted, no longer paying attention to the baby pretending to be dead. What it did not know was that its trace of Chakra had caused an abnormal change in the unborn baby's body. The already-formed reproductive organ underwent a bizarre transformation under the influence of the Nine-Tails' Chakra.

The Nine-Tails' calamity arrived along with Kushina's labor.

As the Nine-Tails' Jinchuriki, Kushina's seal was exceptionally weak during childbirth. Someone with ulterior motives seized the opportunity and took the Nine-Tails sealed within Kushina in one stroke.

Kushina's face was drenched in sweat, with severe dark circles beneath her eyes. She lay weakly on the stone bed, looking at the newborn baby with a satisfied smile.

Ordinarily, a Jinchuriki would die immediately after having a Tailed Beast extracted. But Kushina, as a member of the Uzumaki clan, possessed such vigorous vitality that she did not die at once.

In the distance, a massive monster appeared. Covered in red fur and bearing nine tails, it was none other than the Nine-Tailed Fox that had previously been sealed inside Kushina.

Its enormous body could whip up a violent gale with the slightest twitch of its tails. A mere stomp would shake the earth and mountains. Facing such a monster, Konoha's ninja found every attack at their disposal utterly powerless, unable to inflict any harm upon the Nine-Tails. They could only curse helplessly before meeting their deaths beneath its attacks.

"Kushina!"

Minato Namikaze broke free from the entanglement of the masked man who called himself Madara Uchiha and arrived at Kushina's side. His eyes were full of anguish as he looked at her weakened state, but there was no more time for him and Kushina.

"Minato..." Kushina took a deep breath and struggled to raise a hand that was gradually losing feeling. She gently held the baby. "He is our child..."

"Minato, give the child a name..."

"Let's call him Naruto!"

Minato Namikaze gently held Kushina and tenderly stroked the baby's rosy cheek in her arms.

"That's a lovely name..." Kushina leaned against Minato Namikaze's arms and smiled at the baby. Though she had long doubted Minato's talent for naming things, this name was unexpectedly good.

"Kushina..." Minato Namikaze closed his eyes in pain, then turned to look at the Nine-Tails. "We don't have much time left."

"Why does it have to be Naruto? He's only a baby. Why should he have to bear this..."

"Lord Hokage, the Nine-Tails is growing more violent! There's no time!" A masked Anbu appeared.

"I know!"

Naruto in Kushina's arms struggled to open his eyes. His azure eyes opened wide, and the first thing he saw was a gigantic monster that looked as though it had stepped out of a tokusatsu show.

So this was the Nine-Tails. It was huge!

Wait! Given the current situation... that meant the Nine-Tails would be sealed inside me?! Fuck!

"Naruto..."

Kushina looked at the baby in her arms, who had opened his eyes, and softly called his name. Tears ran down her cheeks and fell onto Naruto's face.

"I'm sorry, Naruto. Mommy won't be able to stay by your side as you grow up..."
