Naruto Uzumaki is a Rogue Ninja

This jutsu was merely a prototype, requiring more time to perfect.

Just as Naruto was getting excited, an Anbu suddenly appeared behind her, and darkness consumed her vision.

"Wait! What are you doing?!"

The Anbu who had been lurking in the shadows emerged, surrounding the one who had knocked Naruto unconscious.

"Under Lord Danzo's orders, Lord Danzo wishes to see her."

The Anbu assigned to protect Naruto watched helplessly as the Root Anbu carrying the unconscious Naruto vanished from the spot. They exchanged glances and also disappeared.

The large puddle on the ground vanished without a trace as the event unfolded. Besides the Anbu, no one knew that Naruto had been taken from here.

Inside her mindscape, the Nine-Tails was frantic, its tail burning like fire. What had happened? Why had Naruto lost consciousness? It had only taken a nap; what could have possibly occurred?

In a dimly lit room, Naruto's eyelids twitched, and she slowly opened her eyes.

"Where is this..."

A person with their right eye bandaged stood before Naruto, looking down at her and slowly saying, "Naruto Uzumaki, as a ninja academy student who hasn't even become a genin, you obtained a scroll containing Wind Style: Gale Palm with Mizuki's help and used it to create a new wind jutsu."

Naruto recognized the person before her immediately. The scar on his chin, the right eye covered by a white cloth – it could only be Shimura Danzo!

"Why did you bring me here?" Naruto blinked innocently, staring at Danzo with a face full of confusion.

Even though she had already cursed Danzo's entire female lineage in her heart, Naruto didn't dare show it.

"For Konoha, Naruto Uzumaki, hand over your jutsu." Danzo declared righteously, waving his hand. The Root Anbu behind him immediately placed a blank scroll and a brush before Naruto.

It was as if handing over her hard-earned results for Konoha was the right thing to do. Just one phrase, "For Konoha," could be used to forcibly seize the fruits of her arduous efforts!

However, Danzo's primary objective wasn't Naruto's newly created jutsu. His main goal was that Danzo knew Naruto had previously interacted with Shisui Uchiha. He wanted to use this opportunity to put Naruto in her place, to make her behave. Ostensibly for Naruto's jutsu, his true intention was to keep Naruto away from the Uchiha Clan.

Naruto held the brush, her head bowed. Closing her eyes, she appeared to be contemplating how to write, but in reality, she was hiding the unwillingness and anger in her eyes.

Her rage had reached an uncontrollable level. Her parents had died for Konoha, and how had Konoha treated her! Arrogantly demanding to seize the jutsu she had created!

I hate you!

Lost in hatred, Naruto had no idea that her contact with Shisui Uchiha had aroused Danzo's suspicion, and he had made his move while the Third Hokage was away on business.

Chapter 11: Seeds of Doubt (Revised) (1/2)

The anger and hatred in her heart burned like a scorching flame, searing Naruto's will and pushing her towards madness. Streaks of crimson appeared in her azure eyes.

Naruto knew she couldn't lose control here. If she lost control, even the Third Hokage couldn't protect her. Konoha would have no place for her, and Danzo might even brainwash her into a compliant puppet, a useful tool...

Suppressing the anger and resentment in her heart, Naruto pretended nothing was wrong, looking at the blank scroll and biting the brush as if thinking about how to write.

Naruto had never imagined meeting Danzo in this manner, and on their first encounter, Danzo intended to seize the jutsu she had painstakingly created.

Where did she go wrong? Why did it turn out like this... Perhaps she should have pretended to be like the original Naruto from the start?

"Naruto Uzumaki, after you write it, you can go home."

Danzo watched Naruto with interest. Being able to base it on Wind Style: Gale Palm and create a new jutsu, Danzo saw immense potential in this technique.

In Danzo's view, he was already showing the Third Hokage great respect by not brainwashing Naruto into a compliant puppet. Konoha needed a controllable Jinchuriki, not a dangerous bomb that could explode at any moment and cause irreparable damage to Konoha.

Naruto stared at the blank scroll for a long time, then tilted her head to look at Danzo, her azure eyes filled with confusion.

"What? You don't want to hand over your jutsu?" Danzo snorted coldly, his left eye gazing icily at Naruto.

Naruto seemed unfazed by Danzo's anger. She blinked innocently, her voice trembling as she said pitifully, "I... I can't write..."

Her voice, trembling like a small, weak lamb's fearful bleat, did nothing to soften the cruel and heartless Danzo. In Danzo's eyes, Naruto was merely a tool sealed with the Nine-Tails. Kept in the village when not needed, she was expected to contribute to Konoha when required, even to the point of sacrificing her life!

However, what Danzo hadn't expected was that this "tool" turned out to be quite useful, capable of developing a new jutsu based on Wind Style: Gale Palm. Danzo's evaluation of Naruto rose a few notches in his heart.

"Is that so?" Danzo stared at Naruto, his hawk-like eye fixed on her like a predator, as if trying to see through all her thoughts.

"Then show me one more time!" His right eye, covered by the white cloth, slowly opened. Even through the bandage, the three-tomoe Sharingan could easily record Naruto's every move.

"Okay, I understand."

Naruto nodded, a hint of resolve flashing in her deep azure eyes.

"Wind Release: Finger Gun! Aaaargh!!!"

Blood splattered. The skin on Naruto's palms and the back of her hands was torn apart by the violent wind. Shredded skin flew onto Danzo's face, sliding down to the ground, leaving a grotesque bloody gash on his impassive face.

"Not bad, similar to when you failed before. However, this is not what I want. I want you to successfully use this jutsu."

Danzo pressured Naruto to continue using Wind Release: Finger Gun. But his motive wasn't solely about the jutsu Naruto had created. He also wanted to use this opportunity to trigger Naruto's berserk state. Even if he couldn't trigger her berserk state, he could use it to put Naruto in her place, make her more obedient, and willingly become Konoha's weapon.

If he could trigger Naruto's berserk state, then he could use that opportunity to completely brainwash Naruto into a Konoha puppet weapon, a remote-controlled bomb ready to detonate on command.

"Naruto!"

The place where the Nine-Tails was sealed turned blood red. The crimson water bubbled like boiling water. The Nine-Tails violently slammed against the seal, its extreme rage compelling it to rush out and kill Danzo.

Nine-Tails! Calm down! I'm fine!

Sensing the Nine-Tails' violent emotions, Naruto quickly tried to soothe it. Outwardly, she had to cry out in pain and sob uncontrollably, while inwardly, she had to calm the furious Nine-Tails. Naruto felt utterly exhausted, wishing she could just die.

Danzo watched the sobbing Naruto, who was clutching her wrist in pain, with a cold expression.

"Hurry up. If you want to go home, do as I say!"

"Danzō!"

The door was violently kicked open. The Third Hokage, accompanied by Kakashi, two advisors, and several Anbu, entered and saw Naruto, whose right hand was stripped of skin, revealing raw flesh. Her azure eyes were filled with pain and fear, tears streaming down her tender, pale little face.

"Kakashi! Take Naruto to the hospital!" Seeing Naruto's exposed, bleeding hand, the Third Hokage's guilt towards Minato Namikaze reached its peak.

"Yes!"

Kakashi approached Naruto, picked her up, and vanished from the spot.

"Danzō, you've really gone too far!" The Third Hokage adjusted the hat signifying his role as Hokage, his voice laced with disappointment. Upon seeing the bloodstains on Danzō's face, he naturally assumed Danzō was responsible for Naruto's hand injury. Furthermore, the scattered skin fragments on the ground further suggested that the injury was inflicted by Danzō, who was skilled in Wind Style.

"You should know she is the orphan of the Fourth Hokage and his wife. The Fourth Hokage sacrificed his life for Konohagakure. Konohagakure already owes Naruto too much, and yet you treat her like this!"

"Hmph! In my eyes, she is nothing more than the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki. I deeply respected the Fourth Hokage; he used his life to protect Konohagakure! He deserves my respect!"

A flicker of admiration flashed in Danzō's eyes when Minato Namikaze was mentioned. However, he didn't give Kushina a second thought. Perhaps, in his view, Jinchuriki were merely tools for Konohagakure.
