Nine-Tails Transformation (Revised)

I never expected to run into brother-obsessed Itachi. Shouldn't that guy have been in the Anbu right now? Did the Third Hokage give him time off? Was he gathering the latest intelligence on the Uchiha Clan?

At Root's secret base, Danzo looked at the two corpses, then raised his head to look at the medical ninja beside him.

"Cause of death."

"I don't know what kind of ninjutsu turned their internal organs into pulp, but..."

"But what?" Danzo pressed.

"There are many marks on their bones that look like they were caused by blades."

"Fine. You may leave."

"Yes."

The medical ninja left respectfully. After exiting Root's secret base, she removed the mask from her face, revealing the bespectacled face of a woman. She had concealed something: the two corpses were covered in identical tiny wounds.

Thinking of the ninjutsu Naruto Uzumaki had created and used after being brought into Root, she was reluctant to believe it, but she felt that even if Naruto had not killed those two, the killer had to be closely connected to her.

Kind-hearted as she was, she naturally knew what would happen if she told Danzo about what she had concealed. To protect Naruto, she had to hide it. To ensure nothing could go wrong, she secretly restored the wounds.

What she did not know was that this very act caused the naturally suspicious Danzo to stop trusting her.

The next day, she received Danzo's order and left Konohagakure. On the day she departed, something happened that spread throughout the entire ninja world.

It was precisely because Danzo had given him that push that he made this decision. Family or Konohagakure? After sitting before the unconscious Sasuke's window for several hours, Itachi Uchiha made his choice.

The Uchiha Clan suddenly announced its withdrawal from Konohagakure! Spies planted in Konohagakure by the various ninja villages immediately sent the news back to their own villages.

Itachi Uchiha, originally Konohagakure's spy, suddenly turned against them. Not only did he reveal every agreement he had made with Konohagakure to Shisui Uchiha and his father, he also confessed why he had wanted to stop the Uchiha Clan from leaving Konohagakure.

In the end, the conversation ended when Fugaku Uchiha's fist, called "A Father's Love," struck Itachi Uchiha in the face.

After learning the news from Shisui's strange crows, Naruto could not help but sigh. Danzo truly deserved to be called a villain-making machine. How many villains in Naruto had embarked on the path of villainy because of him?

It had to be said, Danzo had really done Naruto a huge favor this time! He had forcibly pushed Itachi Uchiha, who had originally been on Konohagakure's side, right back where he belonged. Full marks for that move.

Naruto hurriedly shared her joy with the Nine-Tails. Sitting on the Nine-Tails' head while clutching her stomach, she laughed until tears streamed down her face.

"Danzo has done every evil imaginable, and he finally did one good thing! Still, I doubt he'll be happy about it!"

Thinking of Danzo's furious expression, Naruto happily rolled around atop the Nine-Tails. What could possibly be more delightful than knowing Danzo had suffered a setback?

The answer was, of course, nothing!

Naruto sat on the Nine-Tails' head, swinging her feet.

Now it depended on whether the Uchiha Clan could safely leave the Land of Fire. Just don't die on the road out of the Land of Fire.

If Itachi Uchiha awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, then the Uchiha Clan would have a good chance of leaving the Land of Fire safely.

Still, casualties were inevitable. After all, not everyone in the Uchiha Clan was a genius. The Masked Man, Obito, would probably get involved too.

In the original story, he and that traitor Itachi had slaughtered the Uchiha Clan.

Space-Time Dōjutsu. Terrifying, terrifying. Truly terrifying.

"Too strange! The Uchiha Clan's change is truly too strange!"

The Masked Man appeared on a tree trunk like a ghost. Through the eyehole in his mask, he watched the Uchiha Clan below as they packed their belongings and prepared to leave Konohagakure.

"Is this... a case of plans failing to keep up with change?"

Someone who looked like a pitcher plant poked his head out of the tree trunk. The open pitcher plant revealed a black-and-white face within, and he spoke those words in a word-chain manner.

"They merely changed their method. They will still die, as the price for the Uchiha Clan's past betrayal of me, Madara Uchiha!" With those words, the Masked Man left, leaving behind the pitcher plant's black-and-white face.

"The Uchiha Clan... once so powerful, now merely a declining clan barely clinging to life... It should vanish into the river of history."

The pitcher plant closed, and eerie laughter came from within before it sank into the tree trunk.

"Brother..."

Sasuke Uchiha walked over to Itachi Uchiha and tugged at his sleeve.

"What is it, Sasuke?"

Itachi Uchiha lowered his head and saw Sasuke's face filled with disappointment.

"Are we really leaving Konohagakure?" A trace of hope shone in Sasuke Uchiha's eyes. He hoped to hear the answer he wanted from his brother.

However, given the current situation, that was clearly impossible. Things had already gone beyond Itachi Uchiha's control.

Itachi Uchiha opened his mouth, but the words at his lips turned into a sigh. Ruffling Sasuke's hair, he nodded slightly.

"Konohagakure is no longer suitable for the Uchiha Clan to live in. Sasuke, go help Mother pack our luggage."

"Okay."

Sasuke Uchiha nodded dejectedly and ran into the house.

After all their packed belongings had been sealed into scrolls, the more than two hundred members of the Uchiha Clan changed back into their clan attire and headed toward Konohagakure's gate.

When they arrived at the gate, the Third Hokage was there. It seemed he had been waiting for quite some time.

"Fugaku, can you really not reconsider?" The Third Hokage looked at Fugaku Uchiha at the front. "Even if not for Konohagakure, think of your child. Are you going to make him live a life of wandering hardship with you?"

"Konohagakure no longer has a place for the Uchiha Clan... Third Hokage, I appreciate your kindness. But I am not only Sasuke's father. I am also the head of the Uchiha Clan."

"Is that so... Then I wish you a safe journey."

With matters having come to this, the Third Hokage no longer tried to stop them. He knew he could not stop them, just as he could not stop what Danzo was about to do.

He had done everything he could. But the Uchiha Clan still insisted on leaving Konohagakure, so they could not blame him for turning his back on them.

Once the Uchiha Clan stepped through Konohagakure's gates, they would no longer be people of Konohagakure. No matter what happened to them or what accidents they encountered, Konohagakure would have absolutely nothing to do with it.

The Uchiha Clan has already left... Once I become a Genin, I'll find an opportunity to leave Konohagakure too!

"What do you want?"

Naruto looked at the Anbu who had appeared around her at some unknown point, clearly harboring hostile intentions.

"Naruto Uzumaki, Lord Danzo wishes to see you."
