"Oh-ho, what a saint. If Tōru Mutsuki isn't around, watching Haise Sasaki perform should be entertaining too." Smiling, Huiqi headed upstairs.

Huiqi unexpectedly ran into his colleagues.
"The twins?! SS-rate ghouls! Everyone, stay alert!"
The squad leader recognized Kurona Yasuhisa and Nashiro Yasuhisa beside Huiqi at a glance. The twin ghouls had recently made quite a name for themselves.
"Dad... what should we do?"
"Killing them would be a bit tricky."
"What a nuisance. Why don't you step aside and let us through?" Huiqi walked up to the squad leader and asked pleasantly.
"Let you through?! Ghoul Investigators don't let ghouls go! You'd better..."

Huiqi walked past him without hesitation. Behind him, Kurona Yasuhisa and Nashiro Yasuhisa's rinkaku pierced the walls, wiping out the Rank 1 Investigator squad in mere seconds.
"I offered you a way out, but you just had to take a shortcut to the grave."
During that brief interruption, Haise Sasaki finished his fight with the ghoul upstairs, and Matsuri Washuu issued new orders.
Reinforce Oshiba's squad.
After hearing the orders from above, Haise Sasaki told Kuki Urie to withdraw with Tōru Mutsuki, while he stayed behind to continue the mission.
"So kind." Watching Haise Sasaki from a distance, Huiqi and the twins could not help marveling. He had retained that gentleness even now.
