The second-floor living room was packed. The people seated on the three sofas represented three different factions. Behind Louis stood Banjō and his trusted followers, along with Kaneki and the Yasuhisa sisters, who were there to listen. The sofa on the left held the Ward 6 ghouls led by Ito, once Shachi's most loyal subordinates.
Across from them sat representatives of several ghoul families from Ward 6, sent to discuss the ward's affairs.
However...
Louis studied them discreetly. If they were only here to discuss matters, these representatives seemed strangely powerful. Besides the three on the sofa, several of those standing behind them looked formidable as well.
With Ito and Banjō working together, they had gained control of nearly sixty percent of Ward 6. The remaining forty percent was controlled by these families, so any major developments required them to gather for a discussion.
"They're under my management now. I gave them a reason to start living again." Louis looked at Ito, his tone cold and solemn. "If you have any problems with that, tell me."
During the rebellion in Ward 6, these former Ward 6 ghouls had joined the Invaders, some simply to survive, others for their families... They had then been captured during the battle to retake the ward, and Ito had handed some of them over to Louis.
