Chapter Summaries

Louis gained partial Elementalization and learned more about the V Organization from the Manager before deciding to leave Anteiku. As he shared one last cup of coffee with Irimi, he invited her to ask him anything before he left.

• Nishiki Nishio invited Touka to visit Kamii University, and Irimi agreed to look after the closed shop.
• Louis discovered that his crystallized right arm could control crystals, had immense strength, and made him an SS-Rank Ability User.
• Louis met with the Manager, who answered his questions and warned him that the V Organization was powerful and should not be provoked.
• Louis told the Manager he was leaving Anteiku, then returned to the shop and learned that Nishiki had taken Touka to Kamii University.
• Louis asked Irimi if she had anything to ask him and promised to answer honestly before he finished his coffee.

Touka visited Kamii University, where Hide told her about Kaneki and mentioned Sen Takatsuki’s book signing. Louis left Anteiku and joined Banjō’s group on their way to the signing, hoping to get a signed book for Hinami.

• Touka found Kaneki’s missing-person notice at Kamii University, and Hide removed it before recognizing her.

• Shinohara brought Juuzou Suzuya to the CCG research building, where Chigyo Koitsu explained how Quinques were made and how they worked.
• Chigyo Koitsu presented Suzuya with an S-Plus Rank battle-scythe Quinque made from material Suzuya had captured.

• Tsukiyama offered to invite Ghoul Restaurant members through its one-way invitation channel and estimated preparations would take about two weeks.

• Yoshimura Kuzen demanded that Louis explain why his group was looking for Rize Kamishiro, and Louis pointed to Banjo Kazuichi.

• Louis awoke in a rooftop dream, questioned his recording-type system, and heard that transplanting a kakuhou would kill him.
• Banjo Kazuichi told Louis he had been unconscious for ten days and that Yoshimura had forbidden them from investigating Rize; Louis rejected giving up and vowed to settle the score.
