The Sailfish launched a fresh assault on the city, and its defenders committed their forces to an all-out battle.

• Ming Ci joined Xue Bentao against the Disaster Fish Saint King, while the Disaster Fish Saint Queen arrived with a second wave of sea soul beasts and allied defenders assembled to face both Saint Kings.
• Xue Bentao, Sashanghai, Ming Ci, and Xu Xin fought the Saint King as Long Zhenrang, Zhu Yanfeng, Ou Ya, Chu Jiansong, and Zhang Huasheng battled the Queen, whose energy shield and Sea-Wave Unity forced them back.
• The Punishment Officers and Patrol Warriors struggled to hold their sector until Liu Rengui sent Zhai Shiyan and the Qian Jun Guards into battle, relieving pressure on the walls.
• Chen Xiaojun rode Xixi across the battlefield, severed the Disaster Fish Ancient King’s bloodline-carrying organ, then joined Luo Zongyan and Gui Mingyun in killing it before collapsing from his injuries.

After Sea God Island opened diplomatic ties with the Heaven Dou Empire, Chen Xiaojun’s group left Vast Sea City and arrived in Chang'an City.

• Liu Rengui and the allied forces routed the Sailfish and remaining Sea Soul Beasts, while Chen Cong defeated Omari Bender and the Disaster Fish Saint King fled before Xue Bentao and the other Soul Douluos pursued him.
• Bo Xian'er saved Leonard Rhodes from Long Ma and Zuo Tinggang, then learned that the Crimson Church had pressured the Sailfish to attack and planned to foment conflict between the empires.

Chen Xiaojun and his companions uncover an ancient Angel God palace, then become entangled in a Crimson Church attack at Ji Boda and Liu Ruyan’s engagement banquet. The battle turns into a desperate escape after an infiltrator poisons the guests and the attackers reveal they are immune to the paralysis.

• Chen Xiaojun’s group explored an ancient palace, where Xixi identified the Angel Holy Sword and deciphered the faith-based godhood method before the secret realm expelled them.
• After returning to Chang'an City, Chen Xiaojun shared the godhood method with Chen Cong, while Luo Zhenjun and Xin Mengshen prepared to visit his grandfather.
• Chen Xiaojun warned Ji Boda that the black-clothed attackers were likely Evil Soul Masters, then helped the Ji Family chef prepare dishes for the engagement banquet.
