When she had found out, she had lost her temper and gone over to hit Gendo Ikari a couple of times.
Although she had seen it coming, she still found it hard to accept.
"Ah... Of course, I'm partly to blame too..." Yui Ikari pressed a hand to her forehead, her head aching.

When Shinji had just been born, she had already vaguely sensed that her husband felt almost none of a father's joy toward his own son. Instead, he felt disgust or jealousy.
