Zero saw the two monsters revealed after the fireball was shattered on the big screen and exclaimed, "It's actually C.O.V. and Gan-Q!"
Mirror Knight keenly spotted the differences between C.O.V. and Super C.O.V. and corrected him. "No, no, Zero, that's not C.O.V. Look at its armor and coloring. That's Super C.O.V., born from an enhanced C.O.V.!"
"Super C.O.V.?! Didn't Gaia and Agul already deal with the Root Core Destruction Body?"
Although he wasn't particularly close to his senior Gaia, having met him only once after Etelgar captured him, and had never even met Agul, he still knew the basics about Gaia.
After all, Hikari had gathered data and created a Gaia Medal. Though it had been stolen along the way, Z had fortunately recovered it. Z had even combined it with the Ultraman Tiga and Dyna Medals to develop the mysterious Gamma Future Form.
Although he had never encountered one himself, he still knew that C.O.V. was a weapon the Root Core Destruction Body had sent to invade the Earth in Gaia's world.
But hadn't Gaia and Agul already defeated them? Observers from the Land of Light who visited that world had also reported that there had been no news of the Root Core Destruction Body there for a long time.

If that guess was right, then Gan-Q's appearance was no surprise either.
Gan-Q was another enemy Gaia had defeated, and of course, Zero was very familiar with it too. Even setting aside the whole bunch in the Monster Graveyard, Raymon and his companions had fought Gan-Q, as had several of Zero's juniors. Ginga and Victory had even fought it twice.
His own encounter went without saying.
