At NERV base's command center, the technicians were bringing up the latest Angel's data on the main screen.
"It appeared out of nowhere! It's approaching the monitoring satellites!"
"We have an image!" Hyuga brought it up.
"Oh, come on... what even is that...?" Zero was once again left speechless by the image.
The Angel consisted of three sections. The largest was in the middle, with a massive eye on it. Two enormous winglike structures extended to either side, each with a pair of eyes at its tip.
The Tenth Angel-Sky Angel.
"Hang on, that scale doesn't look right!" Zero glanced at the scale marker and was stunned by its size.
"That thing has to be more than a dozen times my height in length!"
"You'd have to measure its length in kilometers..." Apart from Beludora and Arch Belial, Zero had never seen an enemy this enormous.
"Does it have the same energy signature as before?" Misato asked the technicians anxiously.
"We need further readings. Establishing contact now!" Aoba reported as he worked.
In space, two satellites began scanning the enormous Angel.
These two satellites were survivors of the Metron Ship's attack...
"Beginning scan! Transmitting radar signal! Receiving signal!"
As the satellites circled the Angel, scanning it...
The image on the screen suddenly showed the satellite on the far side being crushed, and then the entire display turned to static.
Clearly... these two surviving satellites had met a grisly end as well.
"An AT Field!" Misato immediately understood what had happened.
"The data's in. No unidentified energy signature detected."
"Then we're all right..." Misato breathed a temporary sigh of relief.
"How would a target this enormous attack...?" Zero pondered.
