"Oh, right, Zero. Here, take these." Just as Mirror Knight was about to go to sleep, he remembered the three capsules Ultraseven had sent.
He reached out of the mirror and handed the capsules to Zero.
"The one with something inside is a surprise for you," Mirror Knight added.
"Huh? What surprise?"
Shinji opened that capsule, and a beam of light flew out.
"Oooh... aaah..." Before the light finished taking shape, Zero had already recognized the voice.
"Moroboshi!" Zero was delighted.
A little monster that looked like a red lychee appeared before them.
"Ah!" Misato jumped in fright. A little afraid of monsters, she hid behind Shinji.
He was only about a meter tall, with a red face and belly and a pair of small, round eyes. Two short, grayish-white arms sprouted where his head met his belly, but his most striking feature was his sausage-like mouth.
-Friendly rare monster, Pigmon.
"I missed you so much, Moroboshi!" "Shinji" took off his glasses and went over to hug Pigmon.
Pigmon seemed to sense Zero's presence too, affectionately nuzzling "Shinji."
"He's actually pretty cute when you look closely." Watching Pigmon snuggle up to "Shinji," Misato stopped being afraid and went over to pet his head instead.
"He is cute... but why did you name him Moroboshi, Zero?" Shinji wondered as he watched Pigmon being affectionate with Zero.
Why would someone give a pet their own name?
Zero looked a little embarrassed. "Uh... to put it in human terms... my vocabulary was just that limited..."
During Zero's special training on K76, a Pigmon had kept him company the whole time. After he regained his identity as an Ultraman, he temporarily left that Pigmon in the Land of Light. Later, at the Monster Graveyard, he met another Pigmon whom Alien Bat had accidentally revived.
