Meng Fan empowered Denji, Power, and Reze to hunt devils, then uncovered the Moore Family’s plan to bring devils into the human world. He sacrificed humanity and his collected devil power to reach the ninth dream layer, erased devils from reality, and remade the world before preparing to create another one.

• Power returned after eating a slice of Meng Fan’s flesh, and Meng Fan gave Dream Blossoms to Denji and Reze, transforming Denji into Black Saw and Reze into the Nuclear Bomb Devil.
• Meng Fan sent Denji, Power, and Reze through Mirror Gates to hunt devils around the world while Makima led a devil army, and he used the resulting crises to make contracts with presidents.
• Meng Fan went to Moore Manor, learned that Natsume Fan Zhi was the Moore leader’s illegitimate son, and demanded the Devil Encyclopedia before discovering the family’s plan to bring devils into the human world.
• Meng Fan killed the Moore Family members at Moore Manor in their dreams, prompting their relatives worldwide to open Dark Gates and spread darkness across the planet.
• Meng Fan sacrificed humanity and his collected devil power to reach the ninth dream layer, drove back the Darkness Devil and Fear Devil, and rewrote reality so devils and the Devil Hunter profession no longer existed.

Denji struggled to get Denosuke out of bed and rushed him to school on the first day of term. Denosuke eagerly awaited his class’s beautiful new teacher, only to discover she was his mother, Reze.

• Denki tried to wake Denji and Denosuke, and Denji hurried them along after remembering Reze had told him to take Denosuke to school.
• Arai arrived to drive Denki and his daughter to school, while Denji and Denosuke left later on Denji’s electric scooter.
• Denji and Denosuke ran into Aki, chatted with him at a red light, and arrived at school after Denosuke had missed the first class.
• Denosuke asked Denki about the beautiful new teacher and excitedly waited for her next class to begin.
• Reze entered the classroom as the new teacher, leaving Denosuke dumbstruck.

Three years after Meng Fan created a new world where human fears became empowered Devils, the Teacher Devil attacked Denosuke’s classroom in the form of the Principal. Reze and the students were swallowed or captured, while a short-haired teacher armed with a Gatling Gun rushed toward the classroom.

• Meng Fan created a new world where Devils returned to Hell and grew stronger when humans feared them.
• Reze taught Denosuke’s class, and the Principal transformed into the Teacher Devil after hearing Denosuke call her Mom.
• The Teacher Devil swallowed Reze and Denosuke, then captured Denki, but Omoki Kazama stabbed its eye and freed Denki.
• Denki and Omoki attacked again, but the Teacher Devil recovered, bound the entire class with its tongue, and began swallowing them.
• Other teachers arrived at the classroom, and a short-haired female teacher with a Gatling Gun ran toward the noise.

Himeno, Reze, and Makima returned to their devil forms after Meng Fan changed the world, and Himeno began explaining devils to the students. Power arrived at the school, reuniting with Himeno and meeting Denosuke, who remained infatuated with Makima.

• Himeno rushed to Reze's classroom after a Giant Toad attacked, where Denosuke and the trapped students had been rescued and Reze emerged from the toad's corpse.
• Reze realized she had become the Bomb Devil, while Himeno revealed that her right hand had turned into a gun and credited Meng Fan's return.
• Himeno explained devils to the students and said she would form a team of Devil Hunters to protect the school.
• Makima arrived after sensing Meng Fan's guidance, and Denosuke grew smitten with her until Reze warned him to stay away.
• Power appeared at the school, greeted Himeno, and invited Denosuke to go have fun, but he compared her unfavorably to Makima.

Meng Fan returned to the restored world of devils and reunited with Himeno, Denji, and the others after they defeated the Bat Devil. He joined Devil Hunter headquarters as its head, with Makima as his secretary, while the others resumed their duties.

• Aki Hayakawa warned everyone to get down before the Bat Devil blasted away the upper floors of the building and caught fleeing students.
• Denji and Power transformed and fought the Bat Devil, though they repeatedly attacked each other, while Himeno and Reze joined the battle.
• Himeno fired on the Bat Devil, and Aki Hayakawa sliced its falling corpse apart before it could crush students.
• Meng Fan appeared, reunited with Himeno and Denji, and explained that he had returned with only the Dream Devil's abilities.
• The group traveled by taxi to Devil Hunter headquarters, where Himeno welcomed a new applicant who had contracted with the Fire Devil and Kobeni came looking for her.
• Meng Fan became head of headquarters, Makima became his secretary, Aki Hayakawa took patrol duties, Power handled interrogations and patrols, and Reze managed records.

Denji, Himeno, Power, Meng Fan, and Makima investigated the disappearance of Hayakawa Mihimeko and rescued her from a Mirror Devil. Dairo was left confused about what his wife had given Meng Fan in thanks.

• Dairo reported that Hayakawa Mihimeko had vanished from their bathroom, and Himeno accepted the case.
• Denji and Power rushed to get Meng Fan's approval, and Meng Fan brought Makima along to investigate.
• At Dairo's house, Denji searched the bedroom while Meng Fan and Makima entered the bathroom and Power guarded the door.
• Dairo bought steaks for the Devil Hunters, and Power ate one raw while he waited for them to finish investigating.
• Hayakawa Mihimeko emerged from the bathroom and explained that a Mirror Devil had pulled her into a mirror; Meng Fan said he had lured it out and rescued her.
• Meng Fan left with Makima, Power took the steaks, and Denji followed with an unexplained item in his pocket, leaving Dairo puzzled about how Mihimeko had thanked Meng Fan.
