"Oh, Miss Tamayo, did you bring the things I asked you to make? Give them to me now, just in case," Ye Chen called to Tamayo in the distance as something else occurred to him.
Hearing him, Tamayo tossed two items straight over. After catching them, Ye Chen rode Little Star in pursuit, completely unworried about Trash Boss escaping.
A Paintball served much the same purpose as a tracker in Monster Hunter. Once a monster was hit with one, a hunter could easily find it no matter where it ran.
When Ye Chen had noticed Muzan showing signs of fleeing earlier, he had thrown a Paintball at him without hesitation. Now Trash Boss's position was plain as day on the system panel.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
Little Star raced through the sky with Ye Chen aboard, and they soon spotted Trash Boss running for all he was worth.
"Little Star, go ahead and attack him! I'll cut him off from behind!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Ye Chen jumped off Little Star's back, then raised his Long Sword and charged toward Muzan.
Little Star hurtled through the air, then landed right in front of Muzan.
"Damn it! Why did they find me so quickly...?"
Muzan was miserable. He hadn't even escaped the grounds of the Demon Slayer Corps Headquarters yet, and he had no idea how Ye Chen had found his trail so quickly. Little Star flew so fast that he had been caught almost as soon as he started running.
"I think we can talk this over." Muzan looked at Ye Chen, then glanced at the sky, already tinged with yellow. Continuing this fight would get him nowhere, so he hoped to make peace with Ye Chen as quickly as possible.
