Spirit Blade Slash!
The Sapphire Star's blade swept in broad, relentless strokes, its ice-blue arcs weaving an impenetrable net before her.
Clang, clang, clang, clang-the threads sharp enough to slice through steel were severed cleanly the instant they touched the ice-blue net.
"So what if you blocked them all this time? I can make countless mistakes. You can only make one!" Muzan wasn't discouraged by his severed threads. He fired another volley, but renewing his attack also left a tiny opening.
And the Sapphire Star seized that opening, snapping her arm upward.
Click! The Clutch Claw locked onto a protruding piece of dark-gold carapace on Muzan's body.
"You're asking for death!" Muzan violently twisted his body, trying to fling the Sapphire Star away along with the claw. At the same time, his four scythe forelimbs swung back toward the taut steel cable.
But the Sapphire Star was faster. The instant the claw locked on, the muscles in her legs exploded into action! Pulled by the cable, she hurled herself through the air. Muzan's twisting only brought her closer faster.
Bang!
The Sapphire Star slammed into Muzan and seized another, rougher protrusion on his chest.
"Noooo! Get off me! You damned human!" Furious and alarmed, Muzan opened the gaps in his back carapace. Several limbs sprouted at once, stabbing backward toward the Sapphire Star's back as she clung to his chest.
The Sapphire Star didn't try to dodge. There was nowhere to go from here! She poured all her focus into the Long Sword in her hand.
"You think I can't counter in midair?" Still pressed against Muzan's chest plate, she sharply twisted sideways! At the same time, her Long Sword swept upward.
Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang-!
