At last, it's finished. There's so much I want to say, but right now I don't know where to begin.
First, I owe all my readers an apology. Finale Part 2 dragged on for the entire summer break.
I originally planned to finish it by the end of July, but it ended up taking until now.
I'm truly sorry. This was definitely my own fault.
That aside, pretty much all the loose ends in this book, big and small, have been tied up.
Some of the smaller ones weren't resolved explicitly, but were addressed indirectly. You might need to read through a couple more times to notice them.
For example, there were scenes where Xiu Yuan had nightmares about Qiqi and the others forgetting him, or about him forgetting Qiqi and the others.
Those were actually just side effects of the lone calamity fate. Shenhe's promotional animation also had a scene where she woke with a start from a nightmare.
Another loose end was why people from the earlier lives reacted even though it was the Fifth Generation.
As the ending revealed, Xiu Yuan had already gone through countless reincarnations, which also meant he had saved them countless times. It was only natural that they would react.
Small loose ends like these weren't explicitly addressed in the book.
They were things readers needed to ponder and think through.
This book currently has only two endings. I'm not writing a third because I'm already feeling a little out of my depth, and I'm afraid that if I keep going, I'll really ruin it.
After all, I'm not someone who likes churning out garbage for cash. Otherwise, Finale Part 2 wouldn't have updated at this pace.
If that were really what I wanted, padding things out to four thousand characters a day
