The Wind-Pressure Sword was a sword technique the original Ellin had practiced for ages but never managed to master.
This technique could be used even without an Anemo Vision.
It relied on immense physical strength combined with a measure of skill to deliver a high-speed thrust, generating wind pressure to strike the enemy.
The original Ellin had practiced the Wind-Pressure Sword day after day, unaware that her technique was already proficient. The reason she could not execute it was that she lacked the physical strength.
Only sufficient physical strength could produce a thrust fast enough to generate wind pressure!
To execute the Wind-Pressure Sword, physical strength mattered most, with technique coming second.
After equipping a level 20 attack Artifact, the current Ellin's physical strength had increased severalfold.
Now, consumed by rage, she had abandoned thought entirely and fought purely on instinct.
As a result, the instinctive memory built through countless days and nights of practicing the Wind-Pressure Sword surfaced, joining with her immense physical strength.
Everything fell into place, and she executed the Wind-Pressure Sword naturally and smoothly.
"Ice Burst: Wind-Pressure Sword!"
Ellin infused this Wind-Pressure Sword with a tremendous amount of Cryo energy. As she thrust her sword, a deafening explosion immediately rang out.
Countless sharp ice crystals surged toward the six Hilichurl Berserkers amid a freezing storm!
Those tiny, razor-sharp ice crystals scoured the six Hilichurl Berserkers like countless blades carried on the freezing wind, tearing their skin and flesh apart!
When the freezing storm subsided, the fronts of the Hilichurl Berserkers' bodies were mangled masses of flesh and blood. In places, stark white bone was exposed, as though they had suffered a thousand cuts.
The immense pain drew agonized howls from the Hilichurl Berserkers. Ellin was about to attack again, but just then, the two Abyss Mages' attacks arrived.
One of these two Abyss Mages wielded Pyro, the other Electro.
They made full use of their nature as "mages," sending the tough, powerfully built Hilichurl Berserkers forward to engage Ellin in close combat while they retreated into the distance and continually launched ranged attacks at her. It was utterly infuriating.
Just then, a fiery red magic circle suddenly appeared beneath Ellin's feet.
Sensing danger, Ellin's hair stood on end. She pushed off with her right foot and leaped backward to evade it, but at that moment, a bolt of lightning came hurtling toward her.
The Electro Abyss Mage had attacked as well!
The Electro Abyss Mage was exceedingly cunning. Rather than aiming directly at Ellin, he targeted the pillar of flame the Pyro Abyss Mage had summoned from the ground.
The lightning moved incredibly fast. The instant it struck the pillar of flame, it triggered an Overloaded Reaction and a violent explosion!
An explosion caused by an Overloaded Reaction was far more destructive than an attack using a single element.
For a moment, fire blazed and serpents of lightning lashed about as a powerful shock wave erupted in front of Ellin.
But in her fury, Ellin was extraordinarily ferocious. Even as the shock wave engulfed her, she refused to stop attacking!
She pressed her hand downward, and the Ice Spirit Orb in the sky flashed with cold light. In an instant, three ice spikes as thick as utility poles and nearly a meter long formed, hurtling toward the Hilichurl Berserkers at tremendous speed!
Boom!
Once she had done this, Ellin was sent flying by the Overloaded Reaction between Pyro and Electro.
The three ice spikes each pierced through a Hilichurl Berserker!
The Overloaded explosion blasted Ellin more than ten meters away. By the time she stood again, her clothes were in tatters, and small cuts from broken branches covered her body.
"Blargh..."
Unable to hold it back, Ellin opened her mouth and coughed up a mouthful of blood.
Taking the full force of the Overloaded explosion had inflicted significant internal injuries. Her internal organs were damaged, and some were even bleeding.
Severe internal bleeding could threaten her life, but she had no desire to pay it any mind.
All she wanted now was to kill every enemy who had hurt her close friend, no matter the cost!
Ignoring her injuries, she charged forward again.
The Unforged appeared in her hand. Cold air swirled, forming an eight-meter-long greatsword of ice, and she wielded it in a frenzied battle against the six Hilichurl Berserkers!
Three of the Hilichurl Berserkers had been left with bloody holes the size of soccer balls after the ice spikes pierced them.
The moment the ice spikes passed through them, the cold they carried froze their wounds and spread through their bodies, eating into their other internal organs and inflicting unimaginable pain.
With injuries like those, these three Hilichurl Berserkers were naturally easier to deal with than the others, so Ellin focused her frenzied attacks on them.
Celestial Shower had yet to fade, but its real-world version differed from the one in the game.
In the game, once Celestial Shower's field formed, it continuously rained down a dense barrage of ice spikes. But that effect could only work in a game.
After all, if so many densely packed ice spikes really fell at random as they did in the game, wouldn't the user and their allies inside the field suffer as well?
With such a dense, random barrage of ice spikes raining down, forget fighting within the field-simply trying to dodge them would demand considerable concentration.
Thus, in reality, Celestial Shower relied on the Ice Spirit Orb to create a field with an extremely high concentration of Cryo. Drawing on that abundant Cryo, Ellin could form ice spikes at will to attack.
Anywhere within the field was within range of Ellin's ice spikes!
Facing the threat of six Hilichurl Berserkers and two Abyss Mages, Ellin rapidly accumulated combat experience.
Her fighting grew increasingly practiced, her slender figure darting and weaving among the six Hilichurl Berserkers as she evaded their attacks.
At the same time, she constantly switched between the Black Sword and the Unforged, unleashing a variety of attacks.
As her combat experience accumulated, she made fewer and fewer mistakes. Her figure darted about, dodging enemy attacks while continually summoning ice spikes. The weapon in her hand never stopped swinging, leaving countless wounds on her enemies.
After half an hour of fierce combat, Ellin thrust her sword through the last Hilichurl Berserker's forehead, and his massive body crashed to the ground.
She flipped through the air and landed steadily.
The prolonged, intense close-quarters fighting had nearly exhausted Ellin's stamina, but her eyes remained bloodshot. In her fury, she could not feel fatigue at all.
Clad in tattered clothes, she stood proudly with a black longsword in hand amid the charred ruins strewn with broken trees and branches.
At her feet lay the mangled corpses of seven Hilichurl Berserkers.
At that moment, she was like a blood-drenched god of war, radiating an immensely powerful presence!
With a flick of her longsword, she shook the remnants of Hilichurl Berserker brain matter from its blade.
Ellin gave the two Abyss Mages a savage smile.
"Now, it's your turn!"
