At last, more than ten minutes had passed.
Razor's breathing was ragged now, his exhaustion plain to see.
An ordinary person would probably have collapsed after running flat out for ten minutes. Yet Razor had spent more than ten minutes fighting monsters amid the Beast Tide, his nerves stretched taut the entire time. Not only had he remained standing, he had slain over a hundred monsters.
That strength was already truly remarkable.
But however remarkable he was, he still had a mortal body.
Vicious monsters surrounded him now, stretching as far as the eye could see.
Yet his breathing grew more frantic, his attacks slower, and his reactions duller.
His consciousness had already begun to blur...
He could feel his stamina nearing its limit.
But he could not stop yet. He wanted to buy time for his family.
He knew how weak he was. There was no way he could protect all his Lupical from a disaster like this.
But even if it was only one wolf-even if his efforts bought just one wolf more time to escape-that would still be worth it!
His double had already dissipated as his stamina ran out. Utterly exhausted, he still bared his vicious fangs at the monsters and swung his claws at them.
But...
Boom!
A dull impact rang out.
Exhausted as he was, his attack was so feeble that a monster easily blocked it with a swipe of its claws.
A monster's attack slammed into his abdomen. His consciousness was so clouded that he did not even know what kind of monster had struck him.
The tremendous force blasted him over a hundred meters away like a kite with its string cut.
His body slammed into the ground. He tumbled helplessly a dozen more times before crashing into a fallen tree trunk
