The Anemo Archon also seemed to have expended considerable power in the battle. The thousand-year flowing wind dissipated, no longer able to support Lumine's body.
As luck would have it, Stormterror had punched a palm-sized hole through Lumine's Wind Glider during the battle.
The Wind Glider could only be used to glide or ride wind currents in the first place. Without the flowing wind supporting her, and with her Wind Glider damaged, Lumine couldn't keep her balance in the air. She plummeted toward the ground!
