"Klee?"
When she saw the little girl in a red outfit and hat following behind Jean, Ellin froze for a moment before delight spread across her face.
Though Klee was a little mischievous, she was kindhearted, carefree, and innocent, and she had left a deep impression on Ellin in the game.
Ever since coming to this world, Ellin had wanted to meet the adorable little Klee.
Unfortunately, since arriving here, Ellin had been either developing relationships with her friends, fighting, or lying unconscious from her injuries.
By the time she finally had some free time, Klee had happened to land herself in solitary confinement for causing trouble.
So despite having been in this world for quite a while, this was Ellin's first time meeting Klee.
She smiled and raised a hand to greet Klee, but just then, Klee suddenly froze.
She studied Ellin's face and clothes closely, her bright, blinking eyes growing wider and wider. A look of delighted surprise gradually appeared on her adorable face, as though she had met someone she had admired for a long time.
Before Ellin could speak, Klee cried out excitedly, "Mommy! It's Mommy!"
Calling out for her mommy, Klee ran over to Ellin, raised her little hands, and bounced around her.
Boom!
Her words struck like a thunderclap, leaving everyone stunned.
"Klee, you can't say things like that! Ellin is only seventeen, and she isn't married yet. How can you call her Mommy? Apologize to her!"
Acting Grand Master Jean was the first to react.
She gave Klee a stern glare, then said apologetically to Ellin, "Sorry, Ellin. Klee must be missing her mother. Please don't take it to heart."
"It's all right!" Ellin smiled. "Children say whatever comes to mind!"
As she spoke, Ellin crouched down in front of Klee and smiled.
