The Bamboo-Copter Shows Its Might

It wasn't because the Elemental Monuments required elements Zhong Baiye and the others couldn't use.

On the contrary, all the monuments were Geo or Electro, so Zhong Baiye could activate every one of them by himself.

The real obstacle was the time limit on those Elemental Monuments.

Lumine could handle one Geo monument, Keqing one Electro monument, and Zhong Baiye another Geo monument. Even with that arrangement, there was still one Electro monument and one Geo monument left with no one to activate them.

Zhong Baiye and the others tried many times, but the monuments were spaced too far apart. Whenever Zhong Baiye was about to reach another Elemental Monument, they would go dark.

Even Lumine, with the help of Anemo, could only keep two Elemental Monuments active at once. She had no time left to run to another one.

"How about we 'enchant' Paimon with Electro and have her activate the other Electro monument?"

Zhong Baiye looked at Paimon with a wicked grin.

Paimon hadn't expected such ice-cold words to come out of Zhong Baiye's body-temperature mouth. She bristled at once.

"I'm just little old Paimon! How could I possibly withstand an 'enchantment'? Think of something else!"

Keqing and Lumine also stopped Zhong Baiye. After all, that would be far too dangerous for Paimon.

Just as Keqing and Zhong Baiye were at their wits' end, Zhong Baiye suddenly remembered what he had drawn yesterday.

Lumine gathered a ball of Geo energy and slapped it against the Geo monument before her, successfully lighting it up too.

He hurled a ball of Geo energy, confirmed that the Elemental Monument in front of him had activated, then immediately used the Bamboo-Copter to rush toward another monument.
