Ch. 101The Magic Eraser

Zhong Baiye returned toward Liyue Harbor with Keqing and Shenhe, grew vastly stronger after using the Breakthrough Cube, and discovered the Magic Eraser could permanently remove a negative status. At the Jade Chamber, he defended Keqing from the Millelith’s accusations and said he would clear up the impostor incident with Ningguang.

  • Shenhe told Zhong Baiye that Xiao had disappeared after seeing him and Keqing hug, so Zhong Baiye, Keqing, and Shenhe headed for Liyue Harbor to report to Ningguang.
  • Zhong Baiye used the Breakthrough Cube, suffered intense hunger and weakness, then woke to find his strength and control over elemental power dramatically increased.
  • Zhong Baiye examined the Magic Eraser, a purple item that permanently removed one negative status, and wondered whether it could even remove death.
  • Keqing became emotional at the sight of Liyue Harbor and went with Zhong Baiye to the repaired Jade Chamber.
  • The Millelith surrounded Keqing, but Zhong Baiye shielded her and told their captain that an impostor had led the attack on the Jade Chamber.

Ch. 102Ningguang's attitude

Zhong Baiye and Keqing reached the Jade Chamber, where Ningguang confirmed Keqing was genuine and heard their account of the Chasm. After learning that Ceng Yuan might be a resurrected Demon God, Ningguang vowed to defend Liyue Harbor, and Zhong Baiye and Keqing pledged to help protect Liyue.

  • Zhong Baiye showed Ningguang's jade hairpin to the Millelith captain, who recognized it and let him and Keqing enter the Jade Chamber.
  • Keqing questioned Zhong Baiye about the hairpin, and he claimed Ningguang had given it to him as proof of his identity after a fake Keqing attacked the Jade Chamber.
  • Ningguang tested Keqing by embracing her, then concluded from Keqing's reaction that she was the real Keqing.
  • Zhong Baiye told Ningguang about their experiences in the Chasm, including the possibility that Ceng Yuan was a resurrected Demon God.
  • Ningguang vowed to keep the Demon God outside Liyue Harbor, and Zhong Baiye and Keqing agreed to defend Liyue.

Ch. 103The Amazing Whale Ship

Zhong Baiye and Keqing sought a way to reach Inazuma and met a Fontaine craftsman who had built an ironclad whale ship. After seeing its powerful but energy-hungry defense, Zhong Baiye offered to solve its power supply problem.

  • Ningguang told Zhong Baiye that Beidou had already sailed for Inazuma and suggested he visit a Fontaine master craftsman with an ironclad ship.
  • Zhong Baiye and Keqing visited the eccentric craftsman, who initially mistook them for idiots before hearing their request to travel to Inazuma.
  • The craftsman brought them to the harbor, where they saw his whale-shaped ironclad ship repel an out-of-control fishing boat with its automatic defense.
  • The craftsman explained that the ship's defense consumed too much energy for it to cross the thunderstorm zone, even with a Vision wielder powering it.
  • Zhong Baiye realized his immense energy reserves could power the ship and told the craftsman he could solve the problem.

Ch. 104Setting out for Inazuma

Zhong Baiye and Keqing inspected the master's whale ship, and Zhong Baiye charged it with elemental power until it was overfilled. With the ship ready to sail for Inazuma, Zhong Baiye hesitated over leaving Keqing behind.

  • The master recognized Zhong Baiye as the Honorary Liyue Qixing and invited him and Keqing aboard the whale ship.
  • The master showed them the ship's interior and asked Zhong Baiye to test its power supply by gathering elemental power.
  • Zhong Baiye let the cord drain his elemental power for more than ten minutes before the master cut the connection.
  • The master revealed that Zhong Baiye had charged the whale ship to two hundred percent, and Zhong Baiye hit him for nearly draining him dry.
  • The master finished adjusting the whale ship and offered to sail to Inazuma, while Zhong Baiye and Keqing looked at each other.

Ch. 105The dangerous Thunderstorm Zone

Keqing joined Zhong Baiye and Master on the Whale Ship as they set out for Inazuma to research a Demon God. They entered the Thunderstorm Zone and faced increasingly powerful lightning strikes that overwhelmed the ship and left Zhong Baiye in mortal danger.

  • Keqing told Zhong Baiye she would go to Inazuma with him, explaining that she had lost her position among the Liyue Qixing and that Ningguang respected her choice.
  • Master launched the Whale Ship, and Zhong Baiye, Keqing, and the others spent two days crossing the sea toward Inazuma.
  • The Whale Ship entered the Thunderstorm Zone, where lightning drained its energy and Zhong Baiye’s power as he charged the vessel.
  • Master estimated they still had eight li to travel and at least fifteen strikes to endure, while Zhong Baiye and Keqing could withstand only a limited number more.
  • Keqing and Master tried to repair a breach in the Whale Ship, but another lightning bolt passed through the hole and struck Zhong Baiye, leaving his survival doubtful.

Ch. 106The "Never Say Never" Rule Never Gets Old

Zhong Baiye absorbed the lightning striking the Whale Ship and used its power to keep the vessel moving through the storm. After the ship reached calm seas, a final bolt destroyed his last clothes, and Keqing offered him a dress.

  • The Raiden Shogun ordered the head of the Kujou Clan to hunt down the person in her photograph and kill anyone who stood in the way.
  • Zhong Baiye absorbed a lightning strike, warned Keqing away, and was pulled back by the master’s Grappling Hook.
  • Zhong Baiye recharged the Whale Ship with the absorbed lightning, allowing it to move again through the thunderstorm.
  • The lightning repeatedly struck Zhong Baiye, burning through his clothes as the Whale Ship approached the edge of the storm.
  • A final bolt hit Zhong Baiye after the ship escaped the storm, leaving him naked, and Keqing offered him a dress from her bundle.

Ch. 107The utterly ordinary fake Raiden Shogun

Keqing forced Zhong Baiye into a purple dress and makeup, revealing that he resembled the Herrscher of Thunder; his hair then turned purple and grew to his waist. The group reached Inazuma, where soldiers mistook Zhong Baiye for the Raiden Shogun and directed them to Ritou to obtain identification, while dockworkers stared at him.

  • Keqing tackled Zhong Baiye, dressed him in a purple dress, and applied makeup, leaving her and Master stunned by his resemblance to the Herrscher of Thunder.
  • Zhong Baiye saw his reflection in a fallen mirror and became captivated by his appearance, though Keqing punched him after he swallowed while staring at himself.
  • Zhong Baiye wished his hair were purple, and it changed color and grew to his waist; he then resolved to avoid women's clothes unless necessary.
  • Master pointed out Narukami Island, but warships carrying Inazuman soldiers intercepted the Whale Ship because the group had no identification.
  • The soldiers mistook Zhong Baiye for the Raiden Shogun, then let the group proceed to Ritou to obtain identification.
  • Zhong Baiye and his companions docked safely, and the people on the docks turned to stare at him.

Ch. 108The Samurai Who Lost His Vision

Zhong Baiye and Keqing discovered that the officer who offered to help them obtain identification papers had led them into a trap, and they defeated him and a group of ronin. They learned that the ronin had surrendered his Vision under Inazuma’s decree, but the officer woke and fired a noisy device, leaving them facing an unknown threat.

  • An officer led Zhong Baiye, Keqing, and Master away from the docks, then revealed his plan to rob them with several ronin.
  • The ronin mistook Zhong Baiye for the Shogun until they noticed his chest, and Zhong Baiye and Keqing attacked the group.
  • Keqing knocked out the final ronin, whose strength resembled that of a Vision bearer despite having no Vision.
  • The bound ronin explained that Inazuma’s decree required people to surrender their Visions and said he had lost his own.
  • The officer woke, noticed the three Visions at Zhong Baiye’s waist, and activated a cylindrical object that made a loud noise.

Ch. 109A battle between two women

Zhong Baiye and Keqing fled the samurai, but the Raiden Shogun appeared and captured Zhong Baiye. Lumine attacked to rescue him, and the chapter ended as the Raiden Shogun drew a purple Tachi from her chest.

  • Zhong Baiye and Keqing escaped into the woods with Master after fighting off samurai, then discussed how to evade squads with Vision bearers.
  • The Raiden Shogun appeared above them, blocked their escape with lightning, and paralyzed Zhong Baiye after carrying him off.
  • Lumine ambushed the Raiden Shogun and fought her at high speed while Keqing watched helplessly.
  • The Raiden Shogun noticed Zhong Baiye was badly bruised, distanced herself from Lumine, and set him down.
  • The sky darkened, and the Raiden Shogun drew a purple Tachi from her chest amid a bolt of lightning.

Ch. 110The pink-furred fox

The Raiden Shogun healed Zhong Baiye’s wounds and carried him toward the palace, while Lumine and Keqing escaped. After Yae Miko intervened, the Shogun threw Zhong Baiye into the air, and Miko caught him and brought him to the Grand Narukami Shrine.

  • The Raiden Shogun appeared, prompting Zhong Baiye to warn Lumine and Keqing to flee before she could pursue them.
  • The Raiden Shogun healed Zhong Baiye with lightning and carried him through the sky despite his protests.
  • Yae Miko appeared as a pink fox and challenged the Raiden Shogun for how she treated Zhong Baiye.
  • After Yae Miko whispered to her, the Raiden Shogun stopped, told Zhong Baiye they would meet again, and threw him from the sky.
  • Yae Miko caught Zhong Baiye and flew with him to the Grand Narukami Shrine.

Ch. 111Grand Narukami Shrine

At the Grand Narukami Shrine, Yae Miko told Zhong Baiye that he could not leave and warned him that the Raiden Shogun would capture him if he escaped. After Yae Miko left to deal with black miasma around the Sacred Sakura, Zhong Baiye broke a hole through the shrine’s barrier and tried to crawl out, only to find someone waiting outside.

  • Yae Miko brought Zhong Baiye to the Grand Narukami Shrine and told him he could move only within its grounds.
  • Zhong Baiye asked why the Raiden Shogun wanted to capture him, and Yae Miko joked that he might have abandoned a resentful woman before admitting she did not know the reason.
  • Yae Miko noticed black miasma around the Sacred Sakura, warned Zhong Baiye not to escape, and vanished to deal with it.
  • Zhong Baiye traced the barrier to the Sacred Sakura, decided not to attack the tree, and repeatedly struck the barrier with the Skyward Blade.
  • Zhong Baiye opened a person-sized hole in the barrier and began crawling through, but an unexpected person appeared before him.

Ch. 112A Discordant Illusion

Zhong Baiye realized that the Grand Narukami Shrine was a powerful illusion and suspected the Sacred Sakura was its core. He could not make the Raiden Shogun destroy it or escape the barrier, and ended the chapter considering whether staying in the illusion might be easier.

  • Zhong Baiye failed to escape the barrier because the Raiden Shogun stood outside, then searched the empty Grand Narukami Shrine and noticed several discordant details.
  • Zhong Baiye found a lock of purple hair and saw in a mirror that his reflection wore men's clothes and had white hair, convincing him that he was in an illusion.
  • Zhong Baiye recalled Keqing's advice and suspected the Sacred Sakura was the illusion's core, but his punch left it unharmed because his strength had been sealed.
  • Zhong Baiye tested the Raiden Shogun's reaction to the barrier and concluded she was not controlled by the illusion, then tried unsuccessfully to lure her inside.
  • Zhong Baiye gave up after the Raiden Shogun ignored his antics and considered staying in the illusion, where food appeared whenever he wanted it.

Ch. 113Wedding lanterns at Tenshukaku

Zhong Baiye escaped Yae Miko’s illusion by using Keqing’s hair clip to make the Raiden Shogun destroy its core. The Raiden Shogun took him to Tenshukaku and guarded him there, leaving him alarmed by signs that a wedding was being prepared.

  • Zhong Baiye remembered Keqing and Lumine after finding Keqing’s hair clip, then discovered pressing it to his chest made the Raiden Shogun attack.
  • Zhong Baiye lured the Raiden Shogun toward the Sacred Sakura and dodged her strike, causing her to cut the tree and shatter the illusion.
  • Zhong Baiye returned to reality in the Raiden Shogun’s arms, while Yae Miko angrily vanished and the Raiden Shogun said he had chosen her.
  • The Raiden Shogun carried Zhong Baiye to Tenshukaku, promised they would soon be together, and left soldiers to guard his room.
  • Zhong Baiye noticed servants hanging wedding lanterns and grew uneasy about the Raiden Shogun’s plans.

Ch. 114The Little Maid, Kujou Sara

Zhong Baiye tried to escape before his wedding to the Raiden Shogun, which was scheduled for that night, and seized Kujou Sara as a hostage. After the guards attacked them and Kujou Sara agreed to help him, he set her down and sought an opportunity to escape Tenshukaku with her.

  • Kujou Sara brought Zhong Baiye wedding clothes and told him the Raiden Shogun had moved the ceremony to that night.
  • Zhong Baiye grabbed Kujou Sara as she was leaving and declared that he loved her, hoping the guards would let them go.
  • The guards attacked Zhong Baiye without regard for Kujou Sara, and she explained that they thought she was an ordinary maid.
  • Zhong Baiye asked Kujou Sara to help him escape, and she agreed after a guard's blade nearly struck her.
  • Zhong Baiye repeatedly tested Kujou Sara's resolve while dodging the guards, then set her down when an opening appeared.

Ch. 115A Glimmer of Hope for Escape

Zhong Baiye and Kujou Sara fought off the guards surrounding them in the Tenshukaku, but Sara hesitated to help him escape because she feared Raiden Shogun’s anger. She secretly gave him a route out before leaving, and Zhong Baiye wondered why Raiden Shogun had not noticed his breakout.

  • Kujou Sara drew one guard away from Zhong Baiye, then joined him and used a thunderbolt to create an opening.
  • Zhong Baiye unleashed his strength and quickly knocked out all five guards, then collapsed from exhaustion.
  • Zhong Baiye asked Kujou Sara to help him escape, but she apologized and initially seemed unwilling to risk helping him.
  • Kujou Sara drew an escape route in blood on a scrap of cloth and gave it to Zhong Baiye before leaving.
  • Zhong Baiye thanked Kujou Sara and wondered why Raiden Shogun had not reacted to his escape attempt.

Ch. 116The Man in Black Reappears

Zhong Baiye tried to escape Tenshukaku, but Kujou Sara arrested him outside as the Raiden Shogun fought a powerful man in black. The man in black drew Zhong Baiye into a mysterious escape using two resonating stones, leaving the Raiden Shogun unable to stop them and the nearby soldiers injured by the resulting force.

  • Zhong Baiye followed Kujou Sara's route out of Tenshukaku, but Kujou Sara arrested him after he climbed over the wall.
  • The Raiden Shogun fought the man in black atop Tenshukaku and unleashed the Musou no Hitotachi against him.
  • The man in black appeared behind Zhong Baiye, offered him a broken stone, and urged him to pick it up.
  • After the man in black was struck and wounded, Zhong Baiye recognized his face and picked up the broken stone.
  • The man in black brought out a matching semicircular stone, and the two stones formed spheres of light that merged around him and Zhong Baiye.
  • The Raiden Shogun could not stop the spheres, and the force they released caused Kujou Sara and the soldiers to bleed from their faces.

Ch. 117The True Power of Musou no Hitotachi

A mysterious pillar of light transformed Zhong Baiye, giving him power comparable to a top-tier Demon God and stirring another person’s memories inside him. A compulsion sent him toward Watatsumi Island, and he escaped the Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko by using the force of the Raiden Shogun’s Musou no Hitotachi.

  • The Raiden Shogun shielded everyone from the sphere’s shock wave, while a pillar of light passed through a rift in the sky and struck the sphere.
  • Zhong Baiye appeared with black hair after the sphere and rift vanished, and the Raiden Shogun contained the resulting energy to protect Narukami Island.
  • Yae Miko soothed Zhong Baiye with Kagura's Verity, helping him seal away the other person’s thoughts while retaining memories of techniques.
  • Zhong Baiye discovered that his power let him withstand a spatial rift, then heard a voice repeatedly ordering him to go to Watatsumi Island.
  • The Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko attacked as Zhong Baiye tried to leave, but he dodged their strikes and headed for the sea.
  • Yae Miko provoked the Raiden Shogun into unleashing her strongest Musou no Hitotachi, and Zhong Baiye used its force to shoot away like a meteor.

Ch. 118Inazuma in Turmoil

Zhong Baiye survived the Musou no Hitotachi on the seabed while Inazuma plunged into turmoil, and Sangonomiya Kokomi ordered the resistance army to launch a decisive battle. As the Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko sensed threats to Inazuma’s seals, a young man emerged from the Serpent’s Head and the Snake God’s remains disappeared.

  • Zhong Baiye examined his badly damaged body on the seabed and realized he was too injured to return to land.
  • After learning that the Tenshukaku had been destroyed, Sangonomiya Kokomi ordered Gorou to launch the decisive battle against the Tri-Commission.
  • The resistance army advanced to the outskirts of Narukami Island, where the Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko confronted signs of danger on Yashiori Island and beneath Narukami Island.
  • Yae Miko concluded that Zhong Baiye had deliberately severed Narukami Island’s ley line connections, weakening the seal on the Seven Deadly Sins.
  • A young man emerged from a broken tooth at the Serpent’s Head, and the next day the resistance troops discovered that the Snake God’s remains had vanished.

Ch. 119The White Night Kingdom Ruins in Enkanomiya

After recovering from his injuries, Zhong Baiye learned that Aether's memories had fused with his own and was drawn into Enkanomiya by Aether. There, he captured the Electro Apostle while the Pyro Apostle fled, then surrendered and blamed his companion.

  • Zhong Baiye recovered from his injuries and discovered through the memories in his mind that they belonged to Aether, Lumine's missing brother.
  • Zhong Baiye examined the damaged stone that had fused him with Aether, but an earthquake opened a strange fissure and Aether's voice urged him to enter it.
  • Zhong Baiye crossed into Enkanomiya and realized Aether had brought him there while retaining part of his consciousness.
  • Zhong Baiye sensed the Pyro Apostle and Electro Apostle, then seized the Electro Apostle with an ethereal hand.
  • The Pyro Apostle fled from Zhong Baiye, then knelt and blamed the Electro Apostle for forcing him to act.

Ch. 120Chaos at the Helioscope

The Pyro Apostle helped Aether take control of Zhong Baiye, and Aether entered the depths beneath Enkanomiya’s Helioscope to reach a sealed cave. Two giant Vishaps confronted him, and the chapter ended with them gathering strength to fight.

  • The Pyro Apostle secretly subdued Zhong Baiye, allowing Aether to take control of his body and free the Electro Apostle.
  • Enkanomiya shook, and its Helioscope began flickering between day and night as Aether learned that his destination lay beneath it.
  • The Pyro Apostle led Aether through a portal and warned him that two giant Vishaps guarded the area below.
  • Aether found the Vishaps sleeping, but they woke and pursued him after sensing his aura.
  • Aether reached the cave entrance but could not break its seal, and the two Vishaps stopped to gather strength after sensing his dragon-like aura.
