Chu Mu quickly calmed down.
Granted, Stelle could be a little careless, but she wasn't so heartless that she would turn her back on everyone close to her.
This so-called arrest was probably something Kafka had deliberately allowed.
Was this part of the script too?
Chu Mu understood that Kafka had probably already been arrested.
Her arrest had never depended on how hard the Xianzhou tried, but on whether Kafka was willing.
With the Xianzhou Luofu in its current state, it barely had enough troops to clear out Cloudford. Unless its top fighter, General Jing Yuan, stepped in, his subordinates couldn't even catch Blade, let alone Kafka.
Still, having the Astral Express Crew arrest Kafka of the Stellaron Hunters was something of a gamble on the Xianzhou's part.
After all, the Astral Express Crew were outsiders, and Kafka had been the one to invite them to the Xianzhou. The Luofu authorities had actually dared to assign them the arrest. Weren't they afraid the two groups of troublemakers would join forces?
Yet the authorities had narrowly won that gamble. The Astral Express Crew had handed over Kafka as proof of their allegiance, establishing themselves as an unquestionably righteous force in the Sea of Stars.
And Kafka? She had used her own predicament to burnish the Astral Express Crew's reputation, especially Stelle's.
That woman really did have everyone dancing to her tune.
So was that why she hadn't come to see me tonight?
Chu Mu felt a little glum.
After considering it for a moment, he asked calmly:
"Where is Kafka now?"
"You aren't even shocked!" Stelle exclaimed in surprise. "How can you be so calm? I get it. You have no heart!"
Perhaps Chu Mu's indifferent tone had struck a nerve with Stelle.
How could this guy be so composed?
